Best Bet - (6) FERN HILL BELLA - Race 9
Spot Play - (2) GRACE TOO – Race 2
20-Cent Early Pick 5 - Race 1: 1,3,4/2,5/7/1,5,8/1,5,8 = $10.80
20-Cent Late Pick 5 - Race 6: 1,4,7/1,4/4,6/2,3,6,7,8/5,8 = $24.00
20-Cent Early Pick 4 - Race 3: 7/1,5,8/1,5,8/1,4,7 = $5.40
20-Cent Late Pick 4 - Race 8: 4,6/2,3,6,7,8/5,8/1,7,8 = $12.00

Race 1 – (3) FEELIN SOME MAGIC has a lot going for him tonight, he gets class relief coming in from Flamboro and adds Kelly.  (1) GOT THE TOUCH steps up in class tonight with the addition of Lasix for the first time.  She has speed and will be forwardly placed.  (4) CHILI N TOAST has been no worse than fifth in his last four starts, could be a factor.

Race 2 – (2) GRACE TOO gets some much-needed post relief this week and that effort last week is hard to ignore.  She is the most likely pace setter.  (5) BRYDOWN LILIBET is one of the more consistent mares in the field and her last two speed ratings have been top notch.  She has a chance against this class.  (1) SHADOW OFDAWN ZAZZ made a break here last out, that is slightly concerning.  I could see her being overbet, I’ll bet against tonight.

Race 3 - This is a race that could go one of two ways; either (7) ARTILLA HANOVER is a single for you or you have to push the all button here.  I’m going to go with singling the Betting Line filly who has done her job during morning qualifiers at Mohawk.  The draw wasn’t kind to her, but she can overcome it.  (8) DIRTY BEACH tired through the stretch last out after putting up some good fractions.  She is worth a look at a price.  (1) E L SPYDER gets Wray back tonight looking to improve off some lackluster efforts.

Race 4 – (8) FAITHFULS NOLA looks to make it three in a row tonight for trainer Randall Fulmer.  She is versatile and can race from anywhere and could be a nice price.  (5) RANDOMIROGEO was my top selection last week and it proved to be a profitable one.  She will most likely be rolling off cover late, if the pace falls apart, look out.  (1) CATCHAFEWRAYS is another stepping up in class this week.  She has been hit or miss of late, but could improve fourth off the layoff.

Race 5 - (1) REGAL MAC looks to drop and pop for his connections off a rough showing last out.  He has some speed and should be closer.  (8) DEBS NEW MAN doesn’t seem to mind the added distance; he is a gutsy gelding who shouldn’t be overlooked.  (5) VIJAYSCAM didn’t get the greatest trip from post six last out, he is one of the speed horses in the field and should be close.  (3) EATAAMS SPORTSBABY closed well from the second tier last week, the added distance could mean the difference here.  (4) EINHORN is another in the field that may benefit from the added distance.

Race 6 – This is another solid competitive race, where just about anyone can win.  (1) NO WHERE TO HIDE will most likely be the speed of the race, that speed rating she put up last week was impressive.  (7) MYWISHLISTFORYOU has a few things going against her, but also has some things working for her.  She faces easier tonight coming in from Ohio, but her draw and the removal of Lasix could potentially hinder her.  If she leaves like I expect her to, she could make her presence felt at long odds.  (4) MARZANNK HANOVER looks to make it four-in-a-row for trainer Kyle Bossence.

Race 7 - (4) RUBBLEONTHEDOUBLE has put up two decent efforts at Flamboro where racing can be a little bit tougher.  The addition of Kelly makes this gelding really stick out.  (1) DAYLON MIDNIGHT has won two straight since coming back off the layoff.  This will be a good test for him.  (2) FORTUNE TELLERS K steps back in class this week; coming off a sick scratch I will use this filly underneath.

Race 8 - (4) CASIMIR SWAMP GIRL comes in from Mohawk Park where she did not race well at all.  She won three straight against this group before that effort, look for her to return to winning ways.  (6) SWEET HEAVEN drops in class coming in from Mohawk Park where she was racing decently.  The shortened field benefits this mare by Sweet Lou.  (5) BUTTERMILK HANOVER really looked sharp against this group last out, she could be solid again.

Race 9 - (6) FERN HILL BELLA gets Carroll in the bike tonight following some very successful trips to Mohawk Park.  She can race from almost anywhere, and knows how to pass horses.  (2) BLOSSOM ONTHEBEACH is a speedy mare who will be leaving from this spot.  If she gets the jump on them, she could be tough to catch late.  (3) HOWMACFIESTY just had too far to come last week, expect her to be closer to the pace.

Race 10 – (8) BLACKCREEK ROSEBUD has shown a lot of promise since coming back off the layoff.  The second tier works to her advantage.  (5) SHOW ME SOME MAGIC has won two of her last three starts, and seems to be getting better at the right time.  She’s got ability to race from any spot.  (3) LO HOLD A MOONBEAN is the closer of the field and will be a factor late.

Race 11 - (1) MISSTWINKLINSJONES gets a decent draw this week for trainer Leslie Joyce.  She has been known to leave when drawing the rail and could be the early pace setter.  (8) SHADOW DREAMER is one of my big price plays that may do well on the drop back in class.  The added distance suits her closing ability. (7) ROSELLA is another class dropper that is hard to ignore, the issue here is the post draw. She likes to come from off the pace and if she behaves, she will be on the scene late. (9) SPORTS ICON won the last time she raced at this distance, keep her in mind when making your Hi-5 wagers. (5) FLYSANTANNA is a consistent mare who always manages to be close to the ticket.
