Race 1 —  (4) SUNSHINE LOVE qualified well in preparation for a return to the races. The son of Sunshine Beach has speed and should be a part of the early pace scenario.  (7) FOOLING YOURSELF is one of the more consistent horses in the field. He can race from anywhere.  (5) D H BOSTON closed gamely in his last start at this level at Grand River. He should be able to make the ticket here.

Race 2 —  (5) OXFORD HALL was making a big move turning for home last week and made a miscue.  He looks to improve tonight.  (4) LADY CATERINA comes in from Leamington after hitting the board in two of her last three starts.  If she behaves, she will make the ticket.  (8) CLUB BELVEDERE draws tough tonight, but she has enough speed to get into the race and be a factor underneath.

Race 3 —  (3) UNITY ships in from Woodbine Mohawk Park, where she has been racing well.  She should continue to excel against slightly easier.  (1) JEMAXPOS ROCKSTARS picks up the services of Travis Henry tonight, who has won twice with her this year. She has speed and gets the benefit of the rail tonight.  (5) BEST WATCH OUT is one of the more consistent horses in the field this week; she gets over a half-mile track well and figures to be a part of the exotics.

Race 4 —  (6) MADAME SHERRY looks to drop and pop tonight after a couple of efforts against Preferred company.  Kelly picks up the drive once again and has had success with this mare before.  (2) SHEENA SOLDIER made an uncharacteristic miscue as he made a move turning for home last week.  He looks to improve tonight.  (7) SLIP INTO GLIDE has won three-straight against lower-level claimers.  He steps up to face tougher this week from the outside.  He could present some value underneath with the right trip.

Race 5 —  (5) SHEZA GAMER closed from off the pace against conditioned company last week to win easily.  She should be able to get the same kind of trip again tonight.  (7) RAVISHIN RUBY is one of the more consistent horses in the field; she draws outside again this week but is a strong closer.  Look for her to be moving late.  (3) HAVARTIWON gets some much-needed post relief tonight for trainer Ryan Steward.  She has speed and should improve moving inside here.

Race 6 —  (4) PREMIER JOY A gets significant class relief tonight after being overmatched in his last few starts.  He has speed and should have no issues here.  (2) SPORTS COLUMN faces easier and gets a much better post draw tonight.  He has speed and should improve.  (3) EXCALIBER SEELSTER raced well in his last start against tougher company.  He figures to do better against this easier group.  (9) MUSIC TO MY GEARS made up a good amount of ground through the mile last week but just had too much to overcome; he will be there tonight.  (6) JAYDENS PLACE faces easier coming in from Mohawk Park.  Don't leave him off of the ticket.

Race 7 —  (6) EINHORN IS FINKLE has won two straight by open lengths against conditioned company.  She draws slightly tough here, but it will take a lot to beat her tonight.  (3) DALI DALITE is a versatile filly who has shown the ability to race from anywhere.  She draws into a good spot here and should be a factor if she behaves.  (2) BANANA MUFFIN is another solid, consistent filly in the field tonight.  She is a strong closer and will be on the scene late.

Race 8 —  (1) BETTORBEFLYIN closed gamely from off the pace in his last start, narrowly getting beat at the end of the mile.  He gets a better draw tonight and looks like a solid play.  (9) MR CHEESEMAN was a strong second last week, coming from off the pace.  He doesn't have much gate speed but should be flying late.  (4) RIVERCRUISE is a very consistent gelding and has only missed the board twice in ten starts this season—one to watch.

Race 9 —  (4) ST LADS THRILLER has won two of his last three starts and is the speed of the field.  He should be able to control the fractions in this spot.  (1) BRAVE WORLD won the last time he drew the rail; his speed should work in his favour from the inside.  (3) CASIMIR RICHIE P didn't get the best of trips last week from post eight. He should improve tonight with post relief.

Race 10 —  (9) POSH ONTHE BEACH A qualified well in preparation for his first start in North America.  He has won two of his last four starts in Australia and should be a factor from post nine.  (1) KINGS JESTER has won three-straight for trainer Melissa Lamoureux.  He has speed, and with the right trip, could be a factor.  (2) PRIVATE SCOTT does his best work when on or near the lead.  He draws well towards the inside and should be close to the pace.

Race 11 —  (2) ILLGETMYOWN THANKS dropped to this class last week and, starting from the second tier, just had too much ground to make up.  He gets post relief and should be closer to the pace tonight.  (1) IDEAL JET will try his luck at Flamboro for the first time in a while.  The speedy son of Jeremes Jet should race well if his recent form transfers.  (6) JKNR LIKETELL went to the lead last week and got passed through the stretch.  That new speed tactic seemed to work; he could be dangerous if he could get into a good spot.  (9) MAJOR CUSTARD faces easier coming in from Mohawk Park tonight.  He should race well from the second-tier.  (7) SIR PUGSLEY is another that looks to improve against easier after racing at Mohawk Park.  The draw was not kind to him, but he should at least make the ticket from here.
