Race 1 – (5) JAYPORT HI CLASS raced well on debut and with the likely favorites being vulnerable here, this one is worth a price look in the opening leg of the early Pick 3. (2) VISION IN WHITE was a bit of a runaway early last time which may have contributed to a break in stride later in the mile. Her form was good leading up to that race and she is the one to beat. (1) WOOD JACK inherited a win two starts back when several rivals broke stride then he broke himself as an overwhelming chalk. His breaking issues make him hard to trust.
Race 2 – (5) GO MUD should hit the front or land in the pocket leaving here and that gives him a decent chance to beat this bunch. (2) SIMON SAID is the other one that should be blasting, and this duo stands a decent chance of racing 1-2 throughout. (6) MISTER GODRO can take a lot of air and stay game but he may get too far back at the start from this post; demand a price.
Race 3 – (2) FRANKS ANGEL has dominated the preliminary legs of this series. If he stays flat, he should not lose. (7) POT STOCK gets St Louis back for a second drive and there could be some improvement coming here; Exacta factor. (6) MALCOLM G – a distant 2nd to the choice last time – should make it into the Tri again here.
Race 4 – (3) TOBINS TERROR drops into a claimer after getting hung out to dry from the 7-hole and she should be tough to beat here starting from a better post. (4) SO LONG SUGAR is capable of better than she showed last time racing at an extended distance and she is worth a look at a price here in a race where she could be sent forward leaving the gate. (5) FLUENTOCITY had a perfect trip on the lead at Flamboro but couldn’t seal the deal. I’ll use her underneath here.
Race 5 – (7) DAPPLE APPLE is a 5-time winner this year taking on seven rivals that total six wins among them. Maybe she blasts and lasts in this spot. (8) P L KALEIDOSCOPE had a wild trip last time after starting from the 7-hole. A better journey is likely in the offing here; using. (4) DREAM BALL raced much better last week, and she should be closing for another share here.
Race 6 – (2) DOLLY DALI draws her best post in a few starts and coming off a solid effort I expect she will be put into this race earlier and get the jump on the favorites. (9) KAHLUA MORNING is in great form, but a second tier post may not be best for her. What price would you accept? (5) MORAMAPPO faces easier here, but last time she raced here at this level she was trounced; mixed signals here. (1) SGT NEILGREENBERET should be able to ride a following trip to a spot in the High-5. (6) VICTORIOUS VALLE
can pass some of these late and take a cheque. Use on the bottom of the High-5.
Race 7 – (8) LUCKYJOHANNA was a winner here four starts back racing in this class and she should get out well leaving behind (1) WARRAWEE USAIN who should be blasting from the rail. I’ll use these two to kick off the late Pick 4. (2) SUPER T is capable of better than he showed last time. Perhaps he didn’t like the “good” track.
Race 8 – (3) GODRO MACHINE parlayed a positive driver change into a sharp win last week and she keeps teamster Henry here. Facing more of the same rivals here, you won’t get the 6/1 morning line quote, but she’s got a big shot to repeat here. (4) DIVA DALI was a strong second to the choice last week and she should be the main danger. (1) SPORTS ICON should race better starting the race with her nose on the gate; using underneath.
Race 9 – (4) LEFKADA should handle these if she stays flat, but that could be a big “if” moving to the smaller track. (2) MEADOWBRANCH PATSY will be the one to catch again. She’s hard to leave off late Pick 4 tickets. (7) RAISING ROYALTY was closing in late last week and from this post his price is sure to climb. Consider using him as a Pick 4 price option.
Race 10 – Interesting finale with several chances. I’ll side with (1) WATT MACHS ME WIN who comes off a sharp victory, draws best and should be able to work out a good trip. (8) BRAONACH continues to race well and could trip out following the choice; using. (3) QUEENOFHEARTS has 19 slices in 34 starts this year. She’s a great one to use underneath. (9) ALYSSA MARIE is 5 for 15 in 2019, but from this post I can only use her on the bottom. (2) VANITY GIRL was a winner from this post three starts back. She should enter contention this week.
