Race 1 - (1) LETS GET PICKLED is in a much easier spot here and I think he’d be a steal at anywhere near his morning line quote of 6 to 1. (4) SOS NOSTOPPINMENOW comes off a huge winning mile taken in very fast time at Hanover Raceway and he may end up being the one to catch here. (5) CUSTOM CUT should get rolled off the gate and he is another threat here but he and the #4 horse could set the race up for the choice.
Race 2 - (5) BEACHHEAD has already paced much faster than his rivals in this race and he should be tough to beat at a short price. (2) YOURTHEONE has an experience edge on the choice and he figures to be the main threat. (4) NELSONEDDY HANOVER should improve exiting Grassroots company and he can be part of the Tri here.
Race 3 - (3) RIOT picks up Jamieson here as he shoots for four straight wins and he should be tough to beat. (2) BET THE LIMIT should get sent forward for position leaving the gate here and that makes him a major factor. (5) APPLECORP HANOVER tries hard but he will likely need to take the overland route again so I’m using him on the bottom only.
Race 4 - (2) BET ON BECKY is the fastest two-year-old on the continent this year and she drew one of the best posts here; enough said. (9) ALUMNI SEELSTER was impressive in her debut but she draws worst here so a place in the Tri is likely the best she can hope for facing the choice. (4) SPORTS CHECK is racing well and she is another to consider for this Tri. (1) GOOD NIGHT MOON should use the rail to get a spot in the top flight early and she can make it into this High-5. (3) RING OF KERRY’s debut was promising and she should take a share racing near the front here.
Race 5 - (7) ZEBS SUNSHINE holds a speed edge on these and he should beat this group if he gets a reasonable trip. (2) CARD SWAP qualified well for this and he’s the second one that I’ll use in this Pick 4. (1) HAWAIIAN GODRO gets Roy back after improving in his most recent start and he merits a look for the Tri.
Race 6 - (1) OZZIE YOUNG draws perfectly to stalk the speed and pounce late; surprise package. (8) ROCK AND TWIST set some big splits and was nailed late. His speed should be respected here. (3) WATCH AVE faces tougher coming off a sharp win. I’ll use him on the bottom of this Tri.
Race 7 - (3) TRAGICALLY HEP gets post relief and she picks up Jamieson to drive. I’ll give her the nod here. (1) CANTSTOPTHEFEELIN can last longer here picking up Lasix and I’ll toss her in the Late Pick 4. (6) TRIM THE SAILS gets a driver upgrade coming off a win. She’s another possibility for this Pick 4.
Race 8 - (1) BEST KEEPSAKE was second in the fastest mile paced by a two-year-old in North America so far this year and she should be tough to get past here. (4) TURNING THE TABLE showed some grit in her debut and I’ll take her to round out this Exacta. (5) ANDRA DAY was expertly driven to win her debut and she should be heard from here in her second start. (7) TWIN B SUNKISSED should get an aggressive steer from Henry and she is a good one to use in the lower rungs of the High-5. (2) SHES A SASSY BEACH should sit a good trip racing near the front and land in the High-5.
