Race 1 — (2) ACROBAT HANOVER was a dominant winner at this level two starts back, then he was in over his head here last week. Dropping back in for a tag gives him every chance tonight; top call. (1) SPORTS ZIPPER gutted out a tough first-over win here last week, and he figures to be the main threat racing from close range; using. (6) GEORGES CREDIT is worth a look for the exotics at a price dropping into a claimer here; using underneath. (8) DONT EXCLUDE ME should get a good following trip tonight, and he is another to consider for the bottom of the Tri and Super.
Race 2 — Those two wins that (3) DANDY IDEA took at Leamington were in fast time for that track, and I’ll give her the nod to notch the three-peat here. (1) LETS ROAR will likely be the one to catch again here, and she is hard to leave out starting from the rail. (6) MS MEAGHAN SPARKEL should get positioned near the front early and she has upset potential in this field; using. (8) LYDIAS LIBERTY tripped out to win last week. From the second tier, she is one that I’ll use underneath this time.
Race 3 — (3) HES GOT SWAGGER goes for a hot barn and, if he is allowed to clear to the front again, he could go right down the road for the repeat; top call. (2) ST LADS FLIRT is the other one that is sure to be blasting from the inside and facing easier; he should be right there. (5) ST LADS BEAT IT could get a great setup for his late kick this week, and he is hard to leave out of the early Pick 5. (8) OUTLAWGRABBINGEARS is good when he races at this level, but drawing into the second tier makes it tough tonight; using underneath.
Race 4 — (4) P C FREE WHEELING gets a positive driver change to Young for this, and he should be able to clear to the front in the first 1/4; top call. (1) DENISE races best with octogenarian owner/trainer Megens in the bike, and she is a contender starting from the rail. (3) LUNA SEELSTER was a decent third here on Friday, and she can take another share tonight. (5) EPIC THRILL is exiting Grassroots races and should be good to take a share here.
Race 5 — (7) NOTETOSELF HANOVER impressively circled up to get the win in his first start racing out of the Bossence barn. He gets the call to repeat in a spot where his price will be better because of drawing a wide post. (8) ROUGH TRADE was a solid 2nd here on Saturday, and he should be a threat racing on the quick comeback; using. (2) NATES BUCKY and (3) FERN HILL BREEZE are both capable racing off the fresh claim and this looks like a race where you need to spread on multi-race tickets. (1) CRANKYS BOY should be good for at least a share starting from the inside tonight.
Race 6 — (8) GOOD AND SWEET drops into a good spot here. I expect Coulter to start moving him as soon as the dust settles, clear to the front, and dominate. (4) ARTISTIC PICK should be one of the quickest leavers, and he has upset potential tonight; using. (2) CARSONS SHADOW drops and moves inside. He is another one that should be a player tonight; consider for Pick 4 and Pick 5 tickets. (3) OUTLAW BADLANDS shows a 1:53 4/5 win only three starts back, and he should be good for at least a share.
Race 7 — (5) CLIKCLAKDWNTHETRAK debuts in a spot that doesn’t look very tough and she attracts driver Borth. I’ll take a swing with her looking for a price. (6) BIG LADY J has the best recent form, and she should be coming on late again; using. (7) NEEDINGOFFTHEGRID is 0 for 14, but she could clear these by the time they reach the 1/4, and that gives her a chance here. (1) MY DALILAH figures to get a good trip racing near the front; using underneath.
Race 8 — (3) TEREM A NEW ONE held a clear lead until late in the mile last week, and maybe he has cycled around to his best form now. (6) SHIPPEN OUT was the one that chased down the choice, and he should be tough right back coming off that impressive first up win; using. Noted quick leaver (4) OAKROCK ELDORADO took a rare come-from-behind win, and he should be good for a share here. (1) WESTRIDGE WARRIOR is a good one to use on the bottom of the exotics starting from the rail.
Race 9 — (3) KEVMARVALOUS made an eye-catching late move to roll past the leaders, and he gets top billing here off that sharp mile. (2) MODERN WRITER gets class and post relief tonight, and sharp improvement is likely coming from him in this spot; using. (1) WAGS is a one-dimensional speed horse that isn’t likely to last here despite drawing the best post; using underneath. (7) DENMARK SEELSTER would be rated higher had he drawn better. From out there, he is likely to take a small share.
Race 10 — (6) SAUBLE PLAY gets a major upgrade in the bike with Sorrie taking over. I expect to see him raced much more aggressively in this first start off the claim. (2) GRANDE SEELSTER’s last two races show improved form and he will win one soon; maybe tonight? (1) KINGSLEY B is likely to take a share if he stays flat tonight; using underneath. (3) GROOGRUX KING can improve here starting from an inside post; consider for the bottom of the exotics.
Race 11 — (2) BEST KEPT SECRET is only 1 for 16 lifetime, but her current form is very good. She finished ahead of a big favorite when finishing 2nd at Mohawk Park most recently. I’ll give her the nod here. (4) BOTTOMOFTHENINTH impressed here last week, winning well with a huge late move; using. (5) A BLACK DIAMOND is a big favorite in the morning line, but she could get stung early again tonight. I’m not sure I’d take a short price. (1) PRECIOUS AMBER won big here last week, but she faced much easier then; using on the bottom.
Race 12 — (2) U R DRIVINGME NUTZ could be helped by the additional 1/16th of a mile tonight because he has a better chance of getting a breather at some point of the mile; top call. (5) ALLY FLIGHT should be a threat dropping into a claimer tonight. I’ll toss him on my late Pick 4 ticket. (4) TUUKKA RASP might also move up racing with a tag here, but I prefer to use him underneath. (9) WILLIAM ROSS is one of the main contenders on paper, but trip could be an issue with him starting in the second slot in the second tier. I’d need a price. (6) SIGHTS ON YOU is another that got no favours at the post draw; small share predicted.
