The judging for the 2018 Media Sovereign Award categories was performed by Professors of the Journalism Program at the School of Media Studies & Information Technology, Humber Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The Jockey Club of Canada is pleased to announce that Amanda Erwin has been chosen as the recipient of 2018 Outstanding Groom Award. Amanda has worked for, Triple Crown winning trainer, Mike Keogh for over 17 years. She groomed Champion Woodcarver, the winner of the 1999 Queen’s Plate, as well as, the 2003 Triple Crown winner and Champion Wando, both owned and bred by Gustav Schickedanz.
