Field set for inaugural Wiener Dog races at Clinton Raceway this Sunday
As Clinton Raceway makes final preparations for closing day of the 2018 season, the line up of Wiener Dogs for the inaugural race has been finalized, and these cute long dogs are chomping at the bone to hit the track for the very first time.
 
The nine-dog field will run approximately 20 meters, on track, following the 8th race on the 12 race card. Post time for the 38th Annual Charity Drivers’ Challenge is set for 1:30pm this Sunday, September 2. 
 
The addition of the Wiener Dog Race will be add to an already stellar line up of harness racing, food and entertainment, all as a fundraiser for the Tanner Steffler Foundation. 
 
Admission and parking are always free at the Huron County oval. The season- closer caps off the 15-week schedule. 
 
Post time for the 12-race event is set for 1:30pm with the wieners hitting the track following race 8.
