DRESDEN (ONT) –
Dresden Raceway is all set for an invasion of children on Sunday afternoon for
Kids' Day.
The local track will be giving away special prizes for children, giving away freezies as well as having a face painter on site and having special draws for bicycles.
WannaDrive will also be at the track showing people what it’s like to sit behind a standardbred giving children and adults an opportunity to sit in the double seated sulky.
With all the excitement, Dresden Raceway will also be celebrating the lifeblood of the industry the grooms with Caretaker Day. Dresden Raceway will honour caretakers for the important job they do day in and day out with the care of the stables.
On the track, GD CRUISE FOR GOLD will be looking for his fifth win in a row for owner/trainer/driver, Donnie Rankin Jr. The four-year-old Allthatglittersisgold gelding is the 8-5 favourite.
