Ontario Racing (OR) will be hosting the Ontario Sires Stakes
"Be A Winner Contest" at all tracks that feature Standardbred OSS races this season.
Fans are encouraged to review the OSS races in the program, complete the ballot and deposit the ballot in one of several ballot boxes (representing an OSS horse in the specified contest race) located at the contest exhibit.
Prior to the contest race, a ballot from each box is selected (finalists). Finalists receive OSS swag (hat & t-shirt) and a $15 "across the board" wager on their selected horse. Finalists will be escorted to the tarmac area (as a group) prior to the contest race to cheer on their selected horse.
The finalist who has selected the winning horse will be the contest winner.
The winner receives a $50 betting voucher, OSS jacket, golf shirt, trophy, and will have their picture taken in the winner’s circle. The winner also receives the photograph as a memento of the event.
