“That's an easy one. I'd rock out with Pearl Jam, just because it couldn't get 'Eddie Vedder' than that!”
What's the one race you'd love to say you won and why?
“I would love to win the Arc with a horse that has never raced going clockwise. Odd and specific, I really love training turf horses and am a firm believer a horse can run both directions.”
You get to suit up with any sports team for practice. Who is it and why?
“The New York Yankees. I've been a Yankees fan my whole life and to put on that uniform would be amazing. I played ball as a kid a lot and always dreamt of it.”
What's your favourite holiday to celebrate and why?
“That would have to be Christmas - just an amazing day to spend with my wife and stepdaughters. The large meal that follows helps too.”
You get to ask Santa for one special gift this year. What is it and why?
“I don't need anything material. I'd just ask for a safe and productive 2017 for myself and my family. The last two years have been amazing and I would love to keep the train rolling.”
