Canadian and U.S. Hall of Famer Bill O’Donnell, who is also an inductee in the Canada Sports Hall of Fame, is one of the greatest drivers to ever sit in a sulky. Now retired from training and driving standardbreds, O’Donnell represents the horsepeople on the Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG) circuit as the president of the Central Ontario Standardbred Association (COSA). Lifetime, O’Donnell has earned just shy of $100 million in purses with more than 5,700 wins.

1. If you could trade places with any one person for a week, who would it be and why?
“Anyone who lives in Belize. I'm ready for a week on the beach.”

“Alice Cooper - Schools Out For The Summer”
3. What is your dream car?
“Chevrolet Impala. I've had a Jaguar and a Mercedes and my Impala gets me where I have to be in the same time without the expense.”
4. Name three things on your bucket list.
“1. Visit Italy again. The last time I was there they had eight inches of snow, first time in 26 years. It kind of ruined our trip. 2. Visit Ireland again. I was there once before but didn't have the time to travel around. 3. Spend every January and February somewhere warm.”
5. If you had not been a horseman, what do you think you would be doing now?
“Driving the happiest people in Florida on a Disney World courtesy bus.”
