Race 1 – (3) BETTORS BURN made a middle move last week but the winner was too strong, and she couldn’t get to her late. She looks best in the opener. (4) BUTTERFLY KISSES also chased a dominant winner and she should be prominent throughout against these. (5) BIG NARANCIA qualified well for this return from a four month break and she will need to get a good result here after missing the first leg of this series.
Race 2 – (4) NEED AROCKET’s wicked early speed has served him well so far and he should be the one to catch here again as he goes for a threepeat to start his career. (5) HOT TAKE battled through some swift fractions at Flamboro and he is in with a decent chance here to break the goose egg in his win column. (6) SIR WATCHING qualified nicely for this racing debut and he is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics here.
Race 3 – (2) TRAFALGFAR was nothing short of sensational breaking her maiden by 22 lengths while under no urging here last week. Anything close to a repeat of that effort would make her very tough to beat here. (8) TOWN DELINQUENT looked good last week circling up to win in the opening leg of this series and she should be a danger here. (6) CANTSTOPTHEFEELIN has only missed the Exacta once in her short career so far and she should be closing here to take a piece of this.
Race 4 – (1) KID GENIUS got moving earlier last week and the result was a blowout win. Starting from the best post gives him a great chance to repeat. (3) EATAAMSWRITEREDY showed little as a big chalk at Flamboro. Expect a more aggressive drive – like the one he got two starts back when winning here – and a better result. (2) LARJON LESTER lands third often and he is a good bet to round out this Tri.
Race 5 – (3) SPICEY VICTOR bounced back in a big way last week and he is the one to beat here at what should be a very short price. (8) GO GET BRUCE should get a good setup for his late kick here and he can close to take a good share here. (4) SCHRADER HANOVER had no answer when confronted by the choice last week, but he should last longer here cutting back to a mile, and he did beat that rival two starts back; using underneath.
Race 6 – (6) OFFICER JONES faces easier here at an extended distance – which he should like – and there seems to be a good probability of some mid-race battling which will help set up his late charge; slight nod. (3) MAY TO FOR raced hard in two races at Flamboro where he finished second both times. He should be in the mix here. (4) ROCKABILLY CHARM could clear to the front leaving the gate here and that makes him one to consider for the cash leg of this early Pick 4. (9) DEADLY ACTION drops and he should work his way into the High-5 here. (1) AMAZING PERCH should get good position early then use a nice following trip to take a share here.
Race 7 – (5) NORTHERN BELLE – a sharp winner of two straight in quick time for the class – looks solid to take a third straight win here. (4) MOSTLY DALI had some good kick on the end of her mile chasing a classy long gone winner now she drops in for a tag and she has an upset chance here. (1) STONEBRIDGE LOYAL gets needed post relief here and she is another in with a shot if she can work out a good trip.
Race 8 – (7) DEBT COLLECTOR likely wins this if he stays flat, but coming off a race where he broke, what price will you take? (2) MASTER SWITCH went on to an easy win last time after the choice broke and he is the likely benefactor again if the choice runs. (1) WINDSONG OPHELIA will put herself in position early to take a good share here and she should be in the Tri at the finish.
Race 9 – (2) TURN BACK TIME moves inside and gets a positive driver change here; slight nod despite the stale date. (4) EATAAMS ELLIE steps up off a sharp win but this isn’t the strongest $15K claimer and another aggressive steer should be rewarded with a good result here. (5) FURIOSA has good recent form but she has taken 9 slices in 12 races this year and another finish on the edges seems likely.
Race 10 – (1) ANOTHER GREAT PICK drops and moves to the best post. This is a field that he should dominate. (3) BEARLY A SECRET should leave hard and get good position near the front here. He is an Exacta factor. (7) BULLDOG TENACITY fits well here but post does him no favors; small share predicted.
Race 11 – (8) REEL was remarkably game despite being parked uncovered for the entire 1 1/16th mile race last week. He is almost guaranteed to get a better trip here starting along the pylons and he gets top call. (2) BUCKEROO set some big splits and he kept on going racing at this extended distance last week and he should be the one to catch again. (3) BETTOR B B won here at this class two starts back and from this post he should be a threat here. (9) BETTORS WESTERN was sharp in victory at Flamboro. He should be coming late here. (4) MAXIMUS POWER is a good one to use in the 4-5 slots in the High-5 here.
