Race 1 – (1) SWANS HONEY met razor-sharp Enchanted Mission last week, and she was no match for that rival. You know A Mac will be sending her starting from the rail, and she is the one to catch and beat. (5) DIRT was a good second to a strong winner last week, and he should be the main threat tonight. (2) MACKJUSTICE will likely get a pocket trip here, but I prefer to use him underneath in this spot.
Race 2 – (2) BLINK AND GONE drops to the bottom claiming level where she should hold a class edge; predicting she wins and gets taken by a new owner here. (1) MA REBELLE is always a threat with her speed, especially when she draws inside; using. (6) ROSELLA is consistently in the mix at this level, and she can take another small share tonight.
Race 3 – (2) SKYLEE DREAM was likely going to win two starts back when she broke on the final turn, then another first up effort didn’t work. Perhaps she blasts to the front this time; slight nod. (3) JUST AN OPTION handled most of these last week, riding the choice’s live cover, then sailing past in the lane. He’s the one to beat. (1) CURRENT DANGER’s debut race was fine and he has licence to improve, especially starting from the inside. He is another possibility for multi-race tickets.
Race 4 – (5) MY JAZZ was an easy winner in the first leg of this series and, although this is a tougher field, she should repeat her front-end win. (9) AZUCAR certainly fits here coming off a nice effort in the Preferred 3 class in London; Exacta factor. (7) PLAYFULL ELEGANCE looked good winning but she took advantage of a slowing late pace. She is at a tactical disadvantage here and likely will be coming too late.
Race 5 – (2) FREDS NIGHT was beaten by a rival that came right back to jog at Mohawk Park on Friday night. He should clear these early, and that makes him the one to beat here. (5) PREMIER JOY A should get put into play early racing off the Gallant claim, and that makes him a threat tonight. (1) AMAZON DRAGON should get a better start vs. these, and he has a better shot tonight than he did in the Pop Up final last week. (3) DYLAN SAM seems to finish 3rd or 4th every week; using underneath. (9) JAYDENS PLACE should rally for a slice off a following trip.
Race 6 – (2) DABUNKA flashed speed and raced better last week. I see him going right down the road in this short field. (1) DEPUTY SEELSTER should land in the choice’s pocket leaving the gate and could provide a challenge down the lane; Exacta factor. (4) MIRAMICHI DAVID should be good for another small share racing close to the front throughout.
Race 7 – (4) OFF ROAD HANOVER raced okay against better on Thursday night at Mohawk Park, and he gets the nod to rally past some tiring leaders here. (5) BRINYS A FLIRT is always a threat with her speed, but she is hard to confidently back at a short price because she tends to tire in the final 1/4; your call. (2) HOORAY FRANCKE had no excuse last week as he ran his record to 1 for 44. Another small share is likely for him tonight.
Race 8 – (4) CAL HANOVER raced better with Henry in the bike, now he gets back to a 7-day rotation and gets his nose back on the gate; top call. (3) EAS IDEAL figures to be closer early leaving from a much better post tonight. He is the other one that I’ll use on multi-race tickets. (1) SANTANNA TONY should get position early and ride it to a spot in the Tri.
Race 9 – Last time (1) MACH MY KISS raced in a class this low, she jogged from the 5-hole. She should be very tough from the rail here. (6) YNOTHOS is also in an easier spot, but she is at a post position disadvantage. I’ll call her to round out the Exacta behind the choice, who is likely to lead all the way. (2) WAR FILLY gets post and class relief for her third start back, and she can improve enough to land in the exotics here.
Race 10 – (3) EATAAMS ELLIE was kept in last week and she got severely backed up when the horse racing directly in front of her started to stop nearing the 3/4 pole. Expecting a more aggressive drive here, she gets top call. (1) SOUTHWIND MARITIME gets post relief, and she also should get put into the race early; using. (8) E R RHONDA raced better last week, but she is hard to love on top from the 8-hole; using underneath. (4) EATAAMS PRINCESS should be good for a share starting from an inside post tonight. (7) BRIENNE THE BEAUTY closed for a small share last week, and she could add some value to the High-5.
