Best Bet –  (6) BAY HARBOR – Race 4
Spot Play – (7) SPARKLE SAMMY – Race 2
Pick 4  (.20 cents, Races 4-7)  - 5, 6 /  all / 4, 6, 8 / 2 = $12.00

RACE 1 – (2) ZOOLOGICAL is offered for claiming for the first time in this seventh race of his 2-year-old season. He has raced almost exclusively on the grass but has won at one-mile and he should handle this two-turn event on the Tapeta. (3) BEL BIMBO is returning on short rest from the Grade 3 Grey Stakes when he had a hop at the start and never got to the lead as was predicted. (5) PERFECT REVENGE won his maiden two starts ago at a route distance and didn't seem to like the grass in the Cup & Saucer Stakes.

RACE 2 – (7) SPARKLE SAMMY posted a 95 Beyer Speed Figure in her last Tapeta outing, a short race in June. She is speedy and may be coming back into better form. (6) DANCE OR STROLL makes her Woodbine debut and she is a synthetic track specialist from Presque Isle and she has 7 wins in 14 tries at this abbreviated distance. This iron filly raced 22 times in 2018 with six wins and she is four for 12 this year. (5) FAT N BITTER will wear blinkers for the first time, drops in for half price and seems to re-discover her good form from the spring.

RACE 3 –  (6) FIESTA IN VEGAS sped to a five-length win in her second career start and she comes right back for $25,000 claiming and draws the outside post in a small field of 2-year-old fillies. (5) DAD'S MISSY powered to her maiden win from far off the pace two starts ago and looked good doing it. She was in tougher last time and had a miscue at the start. (3) JUSTAPOSE is another filly in the field coming off a nice maiden win and she came back with a good clocking for a half mile in a workout Nov. 5.

RACE 4 – (6) BAY HARBOR returned from an 11 month layoff Oct. 5 and had a clear lead early in the race before dropping back and then re-rallying to miss by a neck. (5) AVIE'S SKY was just over a length behind Bay Harbor when they met last time. (2) VESPERANZA stretches out to 6 1/2 furlongs after a five-furlong dash was a bit too short for her last time.

RACE 5 –  (5) PINK SCRIBBLES was expected to win last time coming right back for this $25,000 claiming price but she had a messy start in a crowd and she had little chance to catch up. (8) MARY OF SCOTTS was second with a stalking trip in the race that many of these gals are exiting. The winner that day was a longshot who was hard to figure. (1)0 CINDERVELLA is creeping up to a peak race although she usually competes in shorter dashes. Kazushi Kimura gets a turn on her for the first time.

RACE 6 – (6) ARGENTIUM has lots of good Beyer Speed Figures compared to others but he tends to get too far back in the early part of his races. He has the red-hot Justin Stein on board once again and if he hurries, he can get a big piece at nice odds. (4) BLAKEY makes the often-key third start off the layoff (he was away from Feb. To Sept.) and he returns to the Tapeta surface. He is 2 for 9 on this surface but has been racing a lot on turf lately. He is quite determined if he is in contention into the stretch run. (8) NESTLETON HISH just won at this $40,000 class level before trying grass again in his latest.

Race 7 –  (2) IN MEMORY OF FLOYD has four straight second place finishes as he pursues his maiden win. He is back on the Tapeta for trainer Josie Carroll and jockey Luis Contreras who has to find a way to keep this going in the last part of the race. (3) HIP HIP JORGE is fast and now he has blinkers on for his second local start for trainer Mark Casse. He worked quickly on Nov. 1 too. (6) MUCHOKOVA had that nice debut outing on the grass and he was one-paced in a longer race in his first try on the Tapeta. The first-time starter (7) GRAY'S FABLE is a 4-year-old with many fast workout times, mostly on the grass. His last gate workout was Oct. 6.

Race 8 – (8) HIDDEN QUESTION is a first time starter by the high percentage debut sire Signature Red. She has worked fast and debuts for low claiming for a formidable owner, trainer and rider combination. (7) MISS DANIELLE returns to five furlongs for her 22nd attempt at the maiden win. She is reliable for exotics. (5) ADABEL has been favoured for three straight races and did not do well in them in two of them. She shortens up to five furlongs which can help her chances.
