Tyler Gaffalione settled the Chiefswood Stables homebred into position on the rail, and made his move around the turn. He finished going four wide and kicking nicely to win by two-and-half lengths. This was the first start of the colt’s four-year-old season and the win pushed him over $415,000 in career earnings.

The three-year-old colt is making his second start of 2022, his first was a fifteenth length victory in the Gr. 3 Robert B. Lewis on February 16. A first or second place finish today will qualify him for the Kentucky Derby. He breezed five furlongs in 1:00:60 on April 2, and six furlongs in 1:11:40 on March 27.
