The four-year-old filly posted a strong third-place finish earlier in the meet in the Gr. 3 Royal Delta, on dirt. She breezed four furlongs in 49.15 on dirt at Palm Meadows Training Centre on March 27 and drew the eighth pole for this start. The daughter of Ontario Sire Souper Speedy has a 2-1-2 record in eight career stakes races. The Royal Delta was her first time hitting the board in a graded stakes.

The four-year-old colt is making his 2022 debut under Tyler Gaffalione, the meet’s second leading jockey by wins. The son of American Pharoah sire, Pioneer of the Nile, posted a 1-1-0 record in five starts in his three-year-old season, highlighted by a win in the Gr. 3 Gotham. His workouts at Palm Meadows in March include four furlongs breezes of 46.80, and 47.75.

The 2021 Queen’s Plate winner is making his second start of his four-year-old campaign. In the mile and three-eights Gr. 2 Mac Diarmida on March 5, he led at 3/4 after fractions of 24.40, 49.63, and 1:14.72 before fading to an eleventh-place finish. This is his fourth career start in a graded stakes, and he’s looking for his first hitting the board finish.
