LONDON, August 28, 2023 - The second edition of the London Classic Yearling Sale (LCYS) is less than two months away and fans can now visit the sale website for a comprehensive look at the complete lineup which numbers close to 300 entries. This marks a substantial jump from the 186 yearlings that sold in 2022.
The complete online catalogue is now available at the www.londonclassic.ca as well as the full roster with links to individual pedigree pages and Standardbred Canada TrackIT links for each yearling. Yearling videos will also be added to the site in the coming days.
New this year, the LCYS catalogue will also be available through Equineline. The app is easily downloaded to your tablet and offers full pedigree pages, sortable in a variety of ways, along with other unique functions aimed at enhancing the buyer’s experience.
The app is available for download the App store – http://www.equineline.com/SalesCatalogApp/?icn=SalesCatApp&ici=HomeCarousel – and the LCYS catalogue will go live on the site this week.
The LCYS website also includes links to our partner hotels which have special rates for those who plan to attend the yearling sale in person and are looking for accommodation.
For those who can’t make it in person, online bidding will once again be available this year through DLMS online bidding services.
Potential buyers are urged to visit the website to access all of the important forms including credit applications, Buyers Authorization of Agent forms or to request a sale catalogue.
The London Classic Yearling Sale will kick off with viewing day on Monday, October 16th.
Hip numbers 1-160 will sell on day one on Tuesday, October 17th and the balance will sell on day two Wednesday, October 18th. Both sale sessions start at 12 noon each day.
