Stronger Together Online Panel and Ricoh Woodbine Mile Post Position Draw set for Wednesday

Woodbine Entertainment is hosting the post-position draw for the 2020 Ricoh Woodbine Mile as part of an online Stronger Together panel this Wednesday, Sept. 16 starting at 11 a.m. ET.

The Stronger Together panel will be hosted by Jason Portuondo and feature trainers Mark Casse and Kevin Attard, and Woodbine Entertainment CEO Jim Lawson. The panel will discuss how the industry managed the COVID-19 pandemic, how its positioned for the future coming out of the pandemic, and innovation in the sport and industry.

Beginning at 11 a.m., the Stronger Together panel will lead directly into the Ricoh Woodbine Mile draw. The panel and post-position draw will be streamed live on Woodbine.com and Woodbine's Facebook page at @WoodbineTB.

Following the online Stronger Together panel, the post-position draw for the 24th running of the $1 million Ricoh Woodbine Mile, a Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series ‘Win And You’re In’ event, will be held. 

Some of the stars targeting the Ricoh Woodbine Mile, which will be contested this Saturday, Sept. 19, include Armistice Day, March to the Arch, Shirl’s Speight, Starship Jubilee, Value Proposition and War of Will.

No RSVP or media credentials are required for the online events but media with questions are invited to please contact Brittney Mayotte, Manager of Communications, for more information or to request race day credentials.
