FRASERVILLE, Ontario - This Saturday,
Kawartha Downs will host its annual
Family Fun Night which is always one of the most popular programs at the track all summer.
Families are encouraged to bring the kids to enjoy all of the activities including a bouncy castle and slide, face painting and balloon animals along with our regular kids activity centre where the youngsters can enjoy snacks, drinks and snow cones as well as colouring, games and activities.
In addition, the very popular Hands On Horses will be at the Fraserville oval on Saturday night. Patrons of all ages may enter to win a chance to drive a horse around the racetrack alongside a professional driver.
There will also be prize draws just for the kids as well as the regular Second Chance draws where fans deposit their non-winning tickets for another opportunity to win.
On track there will be nine live races including the sixth where the three-year-old Mach Three son St Lads Captain will attempt to win his fifth straight for trainer Wilf Perrault who co-owns with Grant and Joanne Currnow.
Family fun night activities get underway at 6:30 while racing starts at 7 p.m.
