Best Bet - (5) BETTER FLY BOY - Race 5
Spot Play - (4) INTREPID LADY - Race 4
$1 Pick 3 – Race 2 - 3,4,5/5/3,4,5 = $9.00
20-cent Pick 4 – Race 5 - 5/3,5/4/1,2,3,6 = $1.60

Race 1 - (5) LIL MEMORIES scored his first win of the year last week in a dominant effort, and he faces a similar group tonight; call to repeat. (2) SEE THE DELIGHT has been superbly consistent in recent months. She’s a solid performer that must be included. (3) SLIGHTLY NAUGHTY was decent two back and has a shot at the ticket in a soft spot.

Race 2 - (4) CARMENS FLUKE has done well at Leamington so far this season, despite stalling down the lane last out. If he can improve on that effort, he should be a winner. (3) JOONER produced a better outing in his first trip to the Lakeshore, making him a player here. (5) BLESSINGINDISGUISE adds Marc St. Louis, and therefore must be considered.

Race 3 - (5) LITTLEANNIEOAKLEY was second in a good showing last time in the only sub-2:00 mile of any entrant’s previous start. St. Louis should give her a sharp steer. (3) BLISSFULLANNMARIE is a 34-time winner that’s winless through 11 in 2020. She’s knocked at the door a few times; she’s liable to kick it down here with an improved post. (1) SGT NEILGREENBERET has performed well two weeks in a row and takes the rail spot; using underneath.

Race 4 - (4) INTREPID LADY fought bravely three wide last week but was ultimately denied. Her first start at Leamington bodes well for a good result this afternoon. (3) JESSICAS LEGACY is impossible to ignore off the impressive first-up victory on Aug 22. The switch to the Nostadt barn and Marc St. Louis has worked wonders and makes this mare dangerous. (5) AMBERS SHADOW was on the losing end of a parked-out struggle last week in an admirable effort. She’s been consistently hitting the ticket and therefore deserves inclusion.

Race 5 - (5) BETTER FLY BOY takes a big drop in class and should score an easy victory here. (7) ONIMPULSE starts from another dreadful post, but her mile times are relatively quick, and she’s thrown out some good miles this season. (4) SANDESTIN HANOVER dropped more than two seconds last out, and he merits consideration today based on that result.

Race 6 - (3) DASHIKI is on a major roll currently, winning three of his past four. Another looks likely with a good Piroski drive. (5) TOMITTA BAYAMA has also caught fire in August, and a better trip than the grueling first-over attempt last week may get this gelding to the winner’s circle. (2) BROTHER AIDAN comes off two strong performances and should be competitive here.

Race 7 - (4) SPORTS NATION picks up St. Louis and takes a huge class drop. Little resistance is expected here. (3) DALI CAT suffered first up last week, but she’s a likely improver with a driver switch and a drop to one of the lowest conditions. (2) RACEBYTHESEASIDE made a dramatic step forward with his placing last week; price play in the exotics.

Race 8 - (6) GROOGRUX KING will likely offer an appealing price based on recent results. He’s a two-time winner in his three-year-old year already, and may only need a usable trip to make it a triple. (1) DELICATE TASTE was second to a superb Lil Memories last time but raced well, and the rail gives her an opportunity to control the tempo today. (3) JIM WHO has proven himself a reliable contender in his debut year. He should pick up a share.

Race 9 - (5) VALIDUS DEO held his own against Woodbine company at the beginning of August, but the St. Louis connections have dropped the sharp gelding to score at Leamington. He’s had previous success on the B circuit, and is the one to beat. (4) REEL is typically imposing against similar foes, but the presence of his stablemate (above) means he requires a top effort. Expect Neill to send the gelding early. (2) LET ME SEE impressed in last week’s first-over win, but now he takes on very stern foes. Locking down the third Triactor spot looks likely, but he would need to pull something special out to beat the top two.

Race 10 - (1) FRONTIER SEELSTER dominated this class on Aug 23 in wire-to-wire fashion, coming home in 29.1 to win by nine. The rail gives him every chance to do it again. (6) KEATON is a Leamington stalwart that is so far empty-handed here in 2020. The gelding may strike at any time; respect. (2) STONEBRIDGE STING tries for three-in-a-row today, but he faces even stronger opponents than the week prior. This is another contender in the most open race on the card.
