Best Bet - (6) SPORTS JACKET - Race 5
Spot Play - (2) MASS BALANCE – Race 12
20-cent Early Pick 5 – Race 1 – 1,7/1,3,6/2,8/1,4,6/6 = $7.20
20-cent Late Pick 5 – Race 6 – 7,8/1,5,7/2,4,7/2,5,8/8 = $10.80
20-cent Early Pick 4 – Race 4 – 1,4,6/6/7,8/1,5,7 = $3.60
20-cent Late Pick 4 – Race 8 – 2,4,7/2,5,8/8/2 = $1.80

Race 1 - (1) LADY JASMINE looks to drop and pop for trainer John Yake.  Colin Kelly gets in the bike for the first time tonight.  (7) OCEANVIEW ECHO has won two straight, she could win a third from the outside this week.  (6) MOONLITEBEACH is another class dropper who should not be overlooked.

Race 2 – (1) DREAMADREAMFORME was game in defeat last week from post nine.  Expecting a strong effort from her this evening from the rail.  (3) RETURN TO STYLE is a dangerous mare who likes to hit the ticket, so long as she can stay flat.  (6) MORAMAPPO is a nice mare who is known for her versatility.  She draws a little tough tonight, but should be rolling late.

Race 3 – (2) T J MACHS ME faces slightly easier this week, her speed rating number from her last start is one that jumps off the page at me.  (8) STAY SAFE raced pretty well from the second tier two starts back, she is not quick off the car, but does know how to pass foes late.  (7) WHITE HIGH HEELS qualified like she was ready for this group, don’t count her out.

Race 4 - (6) SIMON SAID has won two of his last three starts. One thing about this gelding is he can race from anywhere.  He draws tougher, but has improved with the addition of Henry.  (1) GO MUD made an uncharacteristic break in his first start in London.  He gets another chance to show up against this group from the rail.  (4) DABUNKA is a nice gelding who has been racing well at Rideau.  If he can handle the turns, he stands to be a solid contender.

Race 5 - (6) SPORTS JACKET excelled when racing at the extended distance two starts back.  He gets a key driver change to St. Louis.  (3) SHADOW TAIL looked like a winner turning for home last week and weakened after a tough trip from post seven.  Look for him to be better this week.  (1) JULIAN I AM does his best work when on or near the lead, inside draw should give him an advantage.  (2) RISING DRAGON is a gelding who always seems to find a way onto the ticket.  He will be a price.  (5) LET ME SEE has been no worse than fifth in six starts.

Race 6 – (8) LIL MEMORIES stands a chance to be a minor upsetter from post eight tonight.  He is a very consistent gelding who has shown a lot of promise as of late.  (7) KEYSTONE TAZ is a speedy gelding, who should be able to deal with post seven.  He will most likely be a short price.  (1) CAMYOUBELIEVEIT seems to be getting better with each start.

Race 7 - (5) SPORTS ICON takes a step up against tougher this week following a nice victory last out.  The line two back sticks out to me where she broke and still managed to hit the ticket.  (1) DESTINY CRUISE is a speedy mare, who should be able to get into a good position early from the inside.  (7) HOWMAC SABRINA has had to deal with outside draws a lot as of late.  She knows how to race from out here and could strike from anywhere.

Race 8 - (2) ELM GROVE LADYLUCK faces easier after some tough trips at Flamboro Downs.  Look for her to be on the lead controlling the fractions.  (7) MACH SHARK draws tough tonight, but that trip last week really sticks out in my book.  She was roughed up going the extended distance and still hung tough.  She looks to be dangerous again tonight.  (4) TOGETHER WE RUN returns back to the track of her most recent successful effort.

Race 9 - (2) RANDOMIROGEO has won three of her last six and is one of the more consistent horses in the field.  This is a good spot for this filly.  (8) KISS IT BETTER gets St. Louis back in the bike tonight who has had a good amount of success with this filly.  (5) JMR MACH MEL adds Lasix this week for the first time, looks to improve against easier.

Race 10 – When St. Louis gets hot, he is hot and that’s why I’m picking him again on (8) BET THE LIMIT.  Since coming to London he has hit the board twice and a victory to boot.  He doesn’t mind the second tier and looks like a winner tonight.  (3) BLACK TITANIUM has struggled some with the draw as of late, finally gets a decent draw to the inside.  (4) TOWNSHIP WILLY tries to improve with a driver change to Rooney.

Race 11 – (2) IONIA made a break in stride at the start last week and never recovered.  She is a speedy mare, who I don’t expect to have any problems tonight.  (7) WILLYORWONTHE was a game winner against this group last time out, post seven will make things more difficult.  (4) SHEENA SOLDIER is another solid contender who should improve after breaking in his last start.

Race 12 – (2) MASS BALANCE was game in defeat last week, and should excel at the extended distance.  This will be one of many on the program for St. Louis.  (1) LIAM NEEDSOME draws well against easier company; Henry is back in the bike for trainer Britt Kennedy.  (5) MAGICS LUCKY CHARM is another class dropper who should excel at the longer distance.  (9) FLEXIE is an interesting play from the second tier.  She has been facing tougher at Flamboro and 15/1 could be a steal.  (7) GOTAGETMESOMATHAT didn’t race that well last week, I wouldn’t count her out of the Super Hi-5.
