Best Bet - (1) DAYLON MIDNIGHT - Race 8
Spot Play - (3) NORTHERN BELLE – Race 6
20-Cent Early Pick 5 - Race 1: 1,8/1,4,6/1,5,8/4/1,4 = $7.20
20-Cent Late Pick 5 - Race 6: 3,8/3,5,7/1/1,4,6/2,4,9 = $10.80
20-Cent Early Pick 4 - Race 3: 1,5,8/4/1,4/3,8 = $2.40
20-Cent Late Pick 4 - Race 7: 3,5,7/1/1,4,6/2,4,9= $5.40

Race 1 – (1) OK JASMINE draws into a better spot this week after drawing outside against tougher last week.  She has speed and will most likely be setting the pace early.  (8) TABLES BIG SECRET comes in from Flamboro where she was facing tougher company.  She has a chance to improve tonight.  (4) CAYO LOCO is one of the more consistent mares in the field, she steps up to face better company and could provide value underneath.

Race 2 – (1) IONA DREAM will attempt to continue improving this week with the rail draw following a game effort last out in London. She has speed and is rounding into form at the right time. (6) RUBBLEONTHEDOUBLE draws tough tonight, but should fare better against easier.  Throw out that last start.  (4) CRAZY FUN likes to come from off the pace, that start two back is hard to ignore.

Race 3 - This sets up as an interesting race, as there isn’t much speed in here.  The question will be which of the horses stepping up will try to set the pace.  (5) SMOKE N REACTOR N won two straight before tiring late in the mile last week.  She steps up in class this week, but this is one of the softer Preferred groups.  (8) SAULSBROOK JESSIE looks to improve after a decent effort last week.  She draws into a spot that should allow her to utilize her closing speed.  (1) LADYLIKE has been consistent against this class before, the rail makes her dangerous.

Race 4 – (4) CENTURY GALA adds Tyler Borth to the sulky tonight after racing well against tougher at Mohawk Park.  She returns to the site of her last victory.  (2) TREASURED LOVE is one of the more consistent horses in the field.  Her speed ratings are much the best in this field.  (5) BRYDOWN LILIBET has a lot of ability and has yet to miss the board in London since coming back from the layoff.

Race 5 - (1) FLOSSIE N won decisively in her first half-mile start in Canada.  She gets another favorable draw; I see her continuing to push forward.  (4) LITTLE MARY comes off Lasix in her first start north of the border.  She has some speed and could be a part of the pace early.  (8) FAITHFULS NOLA gets a key driver change to Travis Henry tonight.  If she stays flat, she should make the ticket at decent odds.  (5) PRETTY BLUE ANGEL was roaring from off the pace last week and just missed getting to the leader.  Kelly hops back aboard.  (3) DANDY IDEA has won two of her last four starts, but her effort last week was something special from post seven.  She is a major player against these.

Race 6 – (3) NORTHERN BELLE dropped to this class last week and didn’t really get to show her stuff from post seven.  She gets a more favourable post this week and should improve.  (8) BLACKCREEK ROSEBUD raced well from this spot last week, where she also got slightly leg weary through the stretch.  She likes to hit the ticket and could be around at a price.  (5) OK JEWEL makes her second start off the layoff this week, I like her chances.

Race 7 - (5) GOT THE TOUCH improved with Lasix last out, expect her to continue to succeed tonight.  (7) DARLING PLEASE closed gamely from off the pace last out and just ran out of racetrack late.  She will most likely be rolling late again with the outside draw.  (3) HOLY CHICK really looked sharp from post seven at Woodbine Mohawk Park last week.  She has ability and shouldn’t be counted out.

Race 8 - (1) DAYLON MIDNIGHT has been razor sharp since coming back off the layoff, don’t see him getting beat tonight.  (3) HOT FUDGE SUNDAE clearly improved with the addition of hopples last week, it looks like they have figured this horse out.  (5) LAVECS MUSCLE GIRL raced well with Borth in the bike last week, she likes to be a part of the ticket.

Race 9 - (6) MARZANNK HANOVER was a top pick of mine last week and she just got nailed on the line.  She will race from a tougher spot tonight from post six, but I see her overcoming it.  (4) MYWISHLISTFORYOU enters on a two-race win streak, looking to make it three in a row.  She excelled in London last week.  (1) UBETTIMAGOODONE is another solid contender who could be dangerous from the rail.

Race 10 - (2) TWIN B HUGS was a decisive winner last week after going right to the lead.  She will most likely be the speed of the race again this week and the extra distance should work into her favor.  (9) ST HELENS will be dangerous if she can mind her manners.  She is a solid contender when she behaves.  (4) CREDIT SKILL comes back from Mohawk Park where things will be a little easier for him.  He has speed, that combined with the class drop makes him a decent play.  (6) PLAYFULL ELEGANCE has done well since coming back from the layoff, added distance is helpful.  (5) WHEELY TWICKY stands a chance to make the Super HI-5 at decent odds.
