Best Bet – (3) MOXLEY – Race 9
Spot Play – (1) THE FIRST CHAPTER – Race 6
20-cent Pick-4 - Race 3 – 3,4,7/5,8/5/1,4,9 - $3.60
20-cent Pick-4 - Race 7 – 5,7/2,4,7/3/2,3,4,5 = $4.80

Race 1 – (1) ALL R WISHES will most likely be the speed of the race and has room to improve after a couple of tough post draws, one in a qualifier, one in a pari-mutuel start.  (3) WHEELIN WILLIE could continue his improvement this week following a decent effort in the Prospect Series. (8) DASHING MUSCLE is a nice filly who would most likely be my top selection; the outside draw is a concern though.

Race 2 – (8) SHEMARS LADY HAVOC draws tough this week, but gets some decent class relief dropping out of the Preferred 3 class.  There is value to be had here.  (1) TOPSILL BEACH didn’t get the best trip from post eight last week, should improve with the rail draw.  (6) STARGAZING CRUISER gets Kelly back in the bike, he gets along well with this mare.

Race 3 – (3) KASHE has won three straight and handled the jump to this level very well, the draw was kind to her this week, look for her to be closer to the pace.  (7) NORTHERN TAILWIND has only missed the board twice this season, this is a consistent gelding who doesn’t mind racing from the outside.  (4) HERBS JOURNEY steps back in class and picks up Coulter coming in from Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Race 4 – (5) LADYLIKE gets Kelly back in the bike for trainer James Stewart.  This mare has done nothing wrong of late.  (8) RELLA TIVITY has won from an outside post before, her speed should carry her forward and get her into a good early spot.  (2) NORTHERN BELLE is a consistent mare who raced well in her first start off the layoff.

Race 5 – (5) PUDDIN PIE has enough speed to get into a good spot early.  Kelly and this gelding work well together.  The son of Major in Art looks like a winner in this spot.  (4) SIN CITY SHARK drops in class coming in from Woodbine Mohawk Park.  The shippers do well here; anxious to see if Coulter leaves from here.  (7) CROSS MY MIND draws tough tonight, pitch that start at Sarnia as a one-off situation.  Could be a player underneath.

Race 6 – (1) THE FIRST CHAPTER put in a sharp qualifier, following a year long layoff.  He raced in the Graduate in August of 2018.  (4) JOANI TREELANE steps up for trainer Murray Brethour following two straight wins at Kawartha.  She is a speedy mare and will be leaving off the car.  (9) DUSTYLANE THUNDER threw in a clunker in her second start off the layoff, she faces easier and should improve from the second tier.  (7) LAVAL TITAN always manages to find a way onto the ticket at decent odds, not overly concerned about the outside draw.  (5) THE ACCOUNTANT is a closer who draws well tonight for trainer/driver Dagfin Henriksen.  Would not leave this gelding off of the Super Hi-5.

Race 7 – (5) BETTOR MOVE OVER has won two of her last three, she is a strong contender who can race from anywhere.  (7) BIG DIAMOND has had to prove herself from the outside before, look for her to be on the move late.  (8) BOOKIE BABY has won two of her last three and should hit the ticket, regardless of the outside draw.

Race 8 – (2) RAISE YOU TWENTY finally gets a good draw tonight for the first time in his last four starts.  He isn’t the fastest off the gate, but does know how to close strongly.  The draw was not kind to (7) THREE DRAGONS, but this is a gelding who likes to hit the board and fight down the stretch.  Expect him to be around.  (4) JUSTA BANDIT got a rough trip from post eight last out; when he draws well, he normally races well.

Race 9 – (3) MOXLEY dropped and almost popped last week from post eight after being parked a majority of the mile.  You won’t get a big price, but this gelding should win in this spot.  (2) SAULSBROOK KAISEN didn’t mind the off going last week, gets a key driver change to Travis Henry tonight.  (1) DELIGHTFUL MAGIC faces much easier than he has been facing at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Race 10 – (4) WALK IT TALK IT gets Henry back in the bike tonight who gets along with this gelding.  He tends to do just what he needs to do and can race in any pace scenario.  (3) POPLAR ARTIE improved nicely from the inside last week with a change of tactics.  If he leaves watch out.  (5) DON’T EXCLUDE ME shouldn’t be excluded from the ticket tonight.  He has had almost ten days off; the rest should have done him some good.  (2) SUNSHINE LOU has seemed to improve with the addition of Brett MacDonald.  The draw was kind to him again.  (9) BROOKDALE OLLIE hasn’t been racing that great as of late.  Interested to see where he will wind up when the gate opens.
