Best Bet – (1) ALL R WISHES – Race 6
Spot Play – (1) WRAP AND A HOOEY – Race 8
20-cent Pick-4 - Race 3 – 3,4,9/1,9/2,5,9/1 - $3.60
20-cent Pick-4 - Race 7 – 3,6/1/1,3,8/2,3,4,5 - $4.80

Race 1 – (2) IMEXTRASPECIAL raced well in her first career start for trainer Paul Walker.  She tries the half for the first time, while you never know how they’ll do until they get here, she does get the benefit of a good draw.  (5) HP MAMA B drops back in class facing slightly easier after a tough go of things in the Pure Ivory at Mohawk Park.  If she behaves, she will be dangerous.  (9) ALL MUSCLE N SASS went to the lead last week and tired towards the end of the mile.  Look for her to be better in her second career start.

Race 2 – (2) IAM WHAT I AM raced lights out last week after being parked the mile from post six.  He draws well, and there is no reason to think he can’t win tonight.  (1) OLYMPIC GUIDE has won two of his last three and been racing well since coming back from the COVID break.  His speed rating is better than most here.  (4) GOLDIE ROCKET needed that tightener last week, look for him to be better this week.

Race 3 – (9) PAPARAZZI HANOVER dug in late only to be passed by foes through the stretch last week.  Tonight, he gets some class relief and a decent draw again, he should get a good trip from here.  (3) BLUE MOOSE draws well again facing slightly tougher tonight. He did notch a win here last out after shipping in from Mohawk Park.  (4) LETS WAIT AND SEE gets a key driver change to Henry tonight.  Expect improvement.

Race 4 – This is an extremely tough race that could be one of the better wagering races in the card.  (9) CAN YOU SWING IT got the perfect trip at Mohawk Park last out and passed horses late to finish a strong second.  The second tier draw can only benefit her.  (1) YOGA MOUSE gets a driver change to McClure tonight following a break in her last start.  Inside draw makes her a solid contender.  (4) MAG N LADY was stung to the first quarter last week and still managed to put up a fight late.  Look for her to be on the scene late.

Race 5 – (9) BLU CREW should improve following a tough trip from the outside last week.  I think he will get a better trip from the second tier with MacDonald back in the bike.  (5) AMERICAN RISK seems to be improving with every start since coming back off the bench.  He has some speed and should be forwardly placed.  (2) THE REV comes in from Mohawk Park where he was racing well, to face slightly easier company.  The draw was kind to this Gregg McNair trainee, who I expect to hit the ticket.

Race 6 – It will be hard for me to believe that (1) ALL R WISHES will go off at anywhere close to 6/1, but I’ve seen crazier things.  She made the first break of her career here last week, but she was interfered with.  She definitely improves here.  (4) FORTUNE TELLERS K closed from mid-pack in her last start and just ran out of racetrack.  I like her for the Exactor tonight.  (9) TOP OF THE BAR looked like she was getting shuffled last week, and she fought back late making up a few lengths.  She draws decently; using underneath.  (2) EXPECTO PATRONUM didn’t get the best trip in the first start of her career.  She qualified well in preparation for this start, she could provide value to the Super Hi-5.  (8) FUZZY ANGEL is another that, if she behaves could be around late.

Race 7 – (3) SO FRISKY gets Carroll back in the bike combined with a pretty big class drop.  She has the speed to be forwardly placed where she does her best racing.  (6) MISS MADY ships in from Woodbine Mohawk Park where she has been struggling since coming back off the layoff.  Look for her to improve tonight against slightly easier foes.  (5) REGAL LUCK gets some post help and shouldn’t have as much ground to make up this week.

Race 8 – (1) WRAP AND A HOOEY is a key horse in the Pick-4 for me, with a big opportunity to make it two in a row.  (5) ASA ONAMISSION is a solid competitor who has been very consistent against this class. He is getting better every week, look for that improvement to continue this week.  (3) WINDSONG OPHELIA fell off my radar, but she’s not a horse that you want to ignore underneath.  She always manages to find a way onto the ticket at decent odds.

Race 9 – (3) ANDERSON SEELSTER drops in class and looks to pop for trainer Rod Boyd.  She has been facing some top company, looking forward to seeing what she will do here.  (1) ST SOMEWHERE has done well since coming back to Grand River two starts back.  The inside draw gives her a big advantage.  (8) BYE BYE DADDY faces tougher coming in from Sarnia for trainer Tyler Nostadt.  She has speed and is consistent, the post is a slight concern though.

Race 10 – (2) MONEYMAKEHERSMILE is a big time closer, this is the first time she has drawn inside of post five since coming back from the layoff.  The Moreau trainee should be able to tame this field tonight.  (5) OK JASMINE was making up a lot of ground when things went awry last week.  If she doesn’t get interfered with, I think she is much closer than fifth. (4) LADY FINETUNE makes her first pari-mutuel start of the year after being shut down in November of last year.  She has been known to have a little bit of speed, don’t count her out.  (3) VILLAGE JAMIE got into a good early spot last week and managed to fight on late to hang on to third.  The inside draw gives her an opportunity to strike tonight.  (1) SILVERHILL MISTY is one I would not leave off the Super Hi-5 after her improved effort last out.
