Best Bet - (2) TWIN B POWERBALL - Race 4
Spot Play - (6) FURIOSA - Race 9
Early Pick-4 – Race 3 - 2,5,7/2/ALL/1,6,8 - $10.80
Late Pick-4 – Race 7 - 1,2/6/2,3,7/1,2,5,6 - $4.80

Race 1 - (3) LETS ROAR has played second fiddle a lot as of late, she drops down to face easier company and should excel against this group.  (2) SUNSHINE IN MAE is another consistent filly who has really come into form as of late.  Driver change back to Henry tonight.  (1) KD ROSES gets a much better draw this week and should not be ignored.

Race 2 - (3) USURPER is going to take a money and for good reason. The draw has not been kind to this colt lately, expect some improvement with a better post draw this week. (2) DYLANS BANK has not fared well thus far at Grand River against upper level company.  Now he faces a group he has hit the board against before.  (5) ACROBAT HANOVER is a gelding that is rounding into form at the right time.  He faces tougher after a victory at Flamboro last out.

Race 3 - (2) GOALTENDER is a strong closer, but when he draws inside, he knows how to leave from the gate.  Expect him to be forwardly placed tonight.  (7) LA TOUT PETITE didn’t recover after making a break not once, but twice last week.  The outside draw complicates things a little bit, but I like her underneath at a price.  (5) WYND CREEK adds Colin Kelly tonight, a key driver change.

Race 4 - (2) TWIN B POWERBALL was game in defeat last week for trainer Richard Moreau.  He closed nicely from post seven and didn’t have enough fire through the lane.  Should improve with a nice draw.  (5) EDITORIAL has put in a pair of good starts at Grand River and clearly gets over the surface well.  (3) GLOBAL CRUSH steps up to face tougher after some nice efforts at Hanover.

Race 5 - This may be a short field, but boy does it pack a powerful punch right in the middle of the card, it’s about as wide-open as they come.  (2) DREAMING OUT LOUD gets the slight nod over those who enter off victories.  He is yet to miss the board this year and is as versatile as they come.  (1) BIG SIR will clearly take money from the inside having won two of his last three and four of his last six.  (6) HEZA HANDY MAN may face a little bit of trouble from the outside.

Race 6 - (8) BUCKYS ANGEL has won two straight and while the outside makes things a little more difficult, he has the ability to leave.  (6) COOL PRINCESS faces slightly tougher, but again, is one that will have to deal with an outside draw.  (1) MASS AMOUNTOF WINE draws well following a decent effort from post eight at Flamboro last out. (4) JMR NIKMUS made a break and never recovered last week.  He has the ability to make the ticket.  (9) OUR VAN GOGH should improve enough to make the back part of the Super Hi-5.

Race 7 - (1) BIG DIAMOND has a big opportunity to improve this week off the rail after being stung to the first quarter last week.  (7) GET IT DONE DONNA draws tough towards the outside, but is a decent closer who should make the ticket.  (4) SHES MAGIC could be a serious threat to the top two if she is anywhere close to as good as she was last week.

Race 8 - (2) CARD SWAP faces easier after making a break at Mohawk Park last week.  He tends to do better on a half-mile track; expect better.  I can’t dance that well, but (1) DANCE MACHINE has “danced” well with his competition of late.  He seems to get over the smaller tracks well.  (3) SOUTHPAW HANOVER is another consistent gelding who likes to make the ticket.

Race 9 - (6) FURIOSA has won two straight and looks to make it three in a row for trainer William Hamm.  She is a strong closer and will make her presence known late at a mid-price.  (8) SAVEMEDASPORTSPAGE enters off a game victory last out.  She has struggled some when having to race from the outside, but with not a lot of speed inside, expect her to leave and get in a good spot early.  (1) TOPSILL BEACH is another that enters this class off a victory last out, definitely a player.

Race 10 - (3) PRESTO SCORE faces a slightly easier group tonight, with an inside draw.  He has some early speed and should be tough against this group.  (7) KATAPARKA adds Henry back to the bike tonight who gets along well with this gelding.  (2) THE JOY OF SPORTS steps up in class after a tough trip at Charlottetown last week.  Toss that effort as he is not one to make breaks.

Race 11 - This is another very difficult race to conclude the Friday night card.  (1) MOCODRA could bring some value from the rail tonight for trainer Teesha Symes.  She is a very versatile mare who can do just whatever you ask of her.  (2) DREAMADREAMFORME faces much easier this week, and gets some major post relief.  (5) MOSTLY DALI missed the board for the first time in a while last week.  Expect her to rebound here.  (6) SOUTHWIND BAYOU is another consistent filly who has success even when racing from the outside.  (3) AZALEA SEELSTER closed strongly last week, don’t count her out of the Super Hi-5.
