Best Bet - (6) SHOOTINFORTHESTARS - Race 3
Spot Play - (4) BETTORS JET RAY – Race 6
20-Cent Early Pick 5 – Race 1 – 1,4/3,4,5/6/1,3,5/3,9 = $7.20
20-Cent Late Pick 5 – Race 7 – 2,4,9/1,5,8/1,3,4/1,5/2,9 = $21.60
20-Cent Early Pick 4 – Race 3 – 6/1,3,5/3,9/4 = $1.20
20-Cent Late Pick 4 - Race 8 – 1,5,8/1,3,4/1,5/2,9 = $7.20

Race 1 —  (1) MADAME SHERRY is a versatile daughter by Father Patrick who has proven herself to be a consistent mare this season after having only one start in her sophomore season.  She draws well and should use the class drop to her advantage.  (4) TYMAL RIGGS is another in the field getting class relief tonight.  He was beaten by 1-3/4 lengths here last week; expect him to be close again.  (5) SLIP INTO GLIDE has done good things against this class before, worth a look at decent odds.

Race 2 —  (4) AINT HE SPECIAL comes over from Mohawk Park where was racing decently.  He has speed in a race that doesn't have much in it; look for him to try to cut the mile.  (3) DOCS PAPPARAZZI has yet to make the board in his young career; he is another that ships in from Mohawk Park and gets a key driver change to Carroll, who could help this gelding improve.  (5) DOCSPHILLYCHEESE made the first break of his young career last week and never got back into it.  If he minds his manners tonight, he should hit the ticket.

Race 3 —  (6) SHOOTINFORTHESTARS has won four of his last five starts and 12 races on the season for trainer Tyler Nostadt.  The post shouldn't bother this gelding too much; he will be tough to beat.  (9) OAKROCK ELDORADO didn't race that well last week from the far outside in London.  The second-tier should benefit this gelding as he will be following inside speed.  (2) MISTER DG looks to continue his recent success coming in from Kawartha Downs.  Henry picks up the drive for the first time.

Race 4 —  (3) MAYFAIR WELL was razor sharp in his Flamboro debut against the easier company last week.  He gets another favorable draw and could work out the same kind of trip.  (1) WINGS UP didn't get the best trip last week, fading badly through the stretch.  He has had success at Flamboro before, expecting him to improve.  (5) ZACK TO THE MAX should be able to make the ticket in a shortened field.

Race 5 —  (3) FAVARO SEELSTER closed gamely from off the pace last week to finish a very close second.  He draws inside tonight and should be able to work out another favourable trip.  (9) KISSINBYTHEBEACHES steps up in class after beating NW1 company handily last week.  The second-tier could be his only hindrance.  (7) IM THINKING is a consistent colt, hitting the board in 10 of 16 starts. He can improve off his last start, following almost a month off, to take a share here.

Race 6 —  (4) BETTORS JET RAY can defeat this group; the trip just hasn't worked out for him over the past couple of starts.  To be parked the mile and only miss by a few lengths is not something I can ignore; value play of the night.  (1) COUNTRY BOY TOUGH has hit the board in 7 of 12 starts this season; he handles himself well over a half-mile track.  (8) SINGINTHESUNSHINE is one of the closers of the field.  He doesn't seem to mind the outside draw; he could be around at decent odds.  (2) TJ THUNDER faces slightly more challenging company coming in from Rideau Carlton.  He has speed, which could work in his favor.  (5) SMOOTH AS CHEDDAR can show speed and figures to make the Super Hi-5.

Race 7 —  (2) FINKLE IS EINHORN will face more formidable company tonight after being parked the mile last week as my top pick.  He gets a more favorable draw tonight and should get a better trip.  (9) LORD ANTHONY put in a really big effort from the outside to dig in and win last week.  He is versatile and looks to benefit from an improved draw tonight.  (4) P L OLIVER has hit the board in two straight efforts since moving to face this class; he will be battling through the mile.

Race 8 —  (8) SHADES OF BAY has faced the tougher company and held his own.  Post eight is a drawback, but the class relief should be an equalizer for him.  (1) JUST DONT WAIT closed gamely from off the pace last week at this level, just missing.  He should be able to work out a better trip from the rail.  (5) PAPARAZZI HANOVER gets the services of Travis Cullen again, who gets along well with this gelding.

Race 9 —  (4) SHEZA GAMER has won two Autumn Series legs in a row.  She gets a good draw and hasn't lost since Jason Ryan took over; she will be tough tonight.  (3) SG ALEXIA has done well in this series after missing the first leg.  She is a speedy filly who figures to be a part of the early pace.  (1) UNITY just missed last week; she has held her own against the tougher company and could be dangerous.

Race 10 —  (5) GROOVY JOE has won two of his last three starts, including a victory against Preferred 2 company last week.  He is the speed of the race and should be able to cut the mile.  (1) HES GOT SWAGGER has done well since moving up to the Preferred ranks; he draws inside again and should make the ticket.  (2) IDEAL PERCEPTION gets an improved post draw and a shorter field which makes him a contender.

Race 11 —  (9) BETTER BE GOUDA has made just shy of $100,000 in career earnings.  This hard-knocking gelding drops in class tonight and should improve off recent efforts.  (2) SHADOW PLACE gets some much-needed post relief tonight. He will try to improve against easier competition.  (3) TERO is another gelding that will benefit from an improved post position.  He has speed and can hit the ticket.  (8) BIG JOURNEY will have his work cut out for him from post eight, but his closing speed should allow him to be a part of the minor spoils.  (6) BRAVADO SEELSTER didn't get the best trip last week so I wouldn't count this gelding out.
