Best Bet – (6) SPEEDY LYNN – Race 4
Spot Play  - (2) LET'S HAVE FUN
Want to play the Pick 4?  (.20 cents, races 4-7)  6 / 4, 5, 8 / 3, 8, 9, 13 /  1,2, 3, 4 = $9.60

Race 1 –  (3) EASY ACCESS is a filly who showed sharp early speed against tougher in her first season of racing. Trainer Kevin Attard had a solid opening weekend at Woodbine and drops this filly to maiden claiming for the first time.  (4) SIMPLY A ZOOMER almost won a race at this 5 1/2 furlong distance early in 2020 and her 60 Beyer Speed Figure from that race looks good against this field. (8) NO WHAMMIE has had any number of fast workout times and has speed breeding on both sides of her pedigree. (2) DELIGHTFUL DREAMER makes her first start for high percentage trainer Martin Drexler and she tries sprinting off the layoff.

Race 2- (7) LET'S HAVE FUN won her first race of 2020 at five furlongs and had a productive season for the Patton family. He has had many good workout times and should be in the hunt with her natural speed. (5) COOL SOCIETY had four, third-place finishes last season against slightly better and she ran a big race when fresh for her 2020 opener. (3) HIGH SOCIETY GIRL sped to her maiden win in her 2020 finale on turf and she sizzled in a four furlong workout, May 27 in 47 1/5. (1) STORM GAUGE had a pair of near misses last fall at this $25,000 claiming level and can run down some of the speed.

Race 3- Many fast fillies in this optional claiming race at five furlongs and (4) SILENT CAUSEWAY has been zooming around in the mornings for owner/trainer Laura Krasauskaite who won with her first starter of the year last weekend. This gal had an appealing workout at a distance longer than this, 6 furlongs on June 5 in 1:12. (6) LIME has been sent north by US trainer Wesley Ward who typically does well with his Woodbine visitors. (2) LOADED QUESTION own her only start as a two-year-old with a nice 74 Beyer Speed Figure according to Daily Racing Form. Her stablemate, (3) FOREST DRIFT, has posted some very fast workouts this spring and she is offered for claiming for the first time.

Race 4-  (6) SPEEDY LYNN was second in her first two starts of her career last October before trying a stakes race. She is quick enough for this five furlong distance and has a good post in a big field of maidens. (2) HIT AND RUN is quick and has an inside post. Her full brother Red Fiction was a winner last weekend off a long layoff. (12) JOKERS RUN has a tough post fr a short race but drops to maiden claiming and adds blinkers. She sowed promise in two turf sprints last year as a juvenile. (9) SOUPER PECAN was second or third in six of her seven races in 2020 and worked quickly June 10, three furlongs in :35.

Race 5 – (8) SWEET YARE N DIRA came to Woodbine from Florida last June and won three straight five furlong races on grass. She had a short campaign in Florida this winter but was off form and she has had a five month break. (4) BETWIXTING is very good at five furlongs and she likes the grass too. Patrick Husbands rides and he guided her to a win in her finale last fall. (5) FRESH DREAMS loves a turf sprint and after a modest five-race campaign in 2020, she has been putting up stunning workout times this spring including a half mile move April 30 in :45 3/5. (3) REAL COAL is one of the quickest horses for the first two furlongs on the grounds. She hung on to win her finale in 2020 against a couple of these rivals.

Race 6 – (8) MIZZONA doesn't win very often but won a turf sprint early in 2020 and she runs well when she's fresh.(9) MAKE NO MISTAKE won four of her eight races last season including three on the grass. (13) SPARKLE SAMMY loves a grass sprint but this seven furlong distance is about as far as she wants to go on the E.P. Taylor turf course.(3) YES PLEASE beat a few of these when she won in October in a turf sprint.

Race 7 – (1) HITTERS PARK gets a slight nod to win this starter  handicap worth $50,000. He is one of the better ones in the field for the 5 1/2 furlong distance and he won when fresh last July. Toss those two races in New Orleans out as one was on dirt and the other he had trouble at the start. (4) SAMURAI QUEEN reeled off three wins, came close to winning four, beginning in June 2020. She is quick and may be able to challenge the pick. (2) O'KRATOS makes his first start for a new barn. Classy guy might want a bit more distance but he has been working like the wind. (3) SUMERIAN BELL ran his best race of 2020 in his season debut, June 13, at this distance and he has been working in quick times.

Race 8 – There is not a lot to go on with this field of maiden claiming fillies but (6) BABY DRIVER drops to a new low level for her five-year-old debut and she sprints well on the main track. The speedy workout on June 13, 3 furlongs in 34 3/5 is appealing. (1) DON'T WAKE THE BEAR is a first time starter with a tricky post position but she has plenty of pedigree power and a shrewd trainer. (7) STEPITUPSTEPHANIE had a rough winter as she was sent to Aqueduct in New York to race and then to Penn National where she raced June 4 on turf. (9) DANCING ZAZINGA competed on opening weekend against better and trailed and she gets blinkers and a class drop. (10) SILVER SUNROSE is dropped in class for her season debut and she moves from turf to Tapeta.
