Best Bet –  (5) SADIE IRENE – Race 3
Spot Play  -  (7) MAMITA'S CHICA – Race 4
Pick 4  (.20 cents, Races 4-7) :  1,3,7,8  / 2, 5 / 1, 2, 9 / 3, 7 = $9.60

Race 1 – (8) PESARO makes her first start since her March debut in Florida and she had chasing speed in a short turf race. She tumbles in class to just $5,000 claiming, adds Lasix and some of her rivals have simply had a lot of chances to win their maiden. (5) MERINO WOOL was up for second place in her latest when making her first start at this class level. (3) SHISHKA had a messy trip in her latest and is good for a top three placing. (9) SIX PACK GIRL makes her second start after a short, summer break and like others, drops to the lowest claiming level.

Race 2 – (10) TRAIL BLAZING ESSA has been in the top four in all five starts this season and could break through for her maiden win. She needs to be better out of the gate if she is going to rally successfully at 5 1/2 furlongs. (3) COULD BE FATE is very quick and almost  held on for her maiden win last time. If she saves a little more for the stretch run she may not be caught. (5) VESPERANZA has a 53 Beyer Speed Figure from her latest main track sprint and that would be enough to get her close as she returns to a short distance. (8) LOST CORSAGE picked up her first top three finish last time and may be going forward.

Race 3- (5) SADIE IRENE looked like a winner last time in her 4th outing of the year but she was nabbed late. She shortens from 7 to 6 furlongs and that could be the winning move. (8) ROSE RING has been second or third in her last four starts and she was just behind the top pick last time. (9) WARNING BELLE has speed and may have the lead to herself which helps her chances. (6) FRESHIEINTHEFOREST will have blinkers on and she was showing late power in her latest behind the top two picks.

Race 4 –The Pick 4 wager starts with an evenly matched route race for fillies and mares for $10,000 claiming. (7) MAMITA'S CHICA may offer some wagering value as her three races this year have all been on turf but her last win was on the Tapeta. She has steady Beyer Figures in the 55 range.  (3) AUDREY GRACE is very much a contender as she was a hard trying third in her latest at a higher class level.  (8) DEE DEE'S ANGEL gets a class drop and a better start from the gate should put her up close to the early pace and she runs well with that style. (1) FINEST JEWEL was a smart winner for $14,000 last time in a sprint and she handles a route distance just fine. The 10 post is the only concern as she may have to endure some ground loss.

Race 5 – The beautifully bred (2) COCONUT GROVE had a strong finish in her career debut at 1 1/16 miles on turf after a bit of harrowing traffic trouble. She stretches out to 1 1/4 miles and should get the extra stamina from her sire. (5) BARKIN has been unlucky not to have won her maiden at this point with three close finishes. The marathon distance should be okay for this daughter of Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom. (4) SARATOGA VISION is graded stakes placed this year and was not far from a stakes placing on turf too. She is a likely top three factor. (1) SHES THE NORTH had trouble in her latest turf outing when behind the top pick.

Race 6 – This is a confusing $10,000 claiming sprint with many class droppers, including two dropping sharply since being claimed recently. (9) IN A TWIST posted a 73 Beyer Figure when he won two starts back, defeating a runner-up who came back to win. That was for $25,000 claiming and he drops for a barn that seems to  be heating up again. (1) NOW WE ARE NINE was scooped up for $25,000 last time from a turf route race by the Norm McKnight barn and this gelding should closing fast in this sprint. (2) EL CHAIRMAN, like the top two picks, has speed to chase and he is in good form. (6) GOTTAKNOWRIGHTNOW has had a fast workout since his latest on grass and he won on Tapeta in his previous race.

Race 7 – This 5 furlong inner turf dash has some quick gals in the field but maybe (3) SWEET YARE N DIRA can win the pace battle with the very fast Real Coal and Summerland. This gal won two races at this distance on turf to begin her local campaign and she has been tackling tough ones on Tapeta since then. (7) FOXXY BELLE is looking to get back on track after she went on a roll in 2019 and began this year so well. The winner of her latest came back to win the Belle Mahone Stakes. (4) SUMMERLAND was second to the top pick in her return from a layoff two races back. (1) MIZZONA was flat in a race two weeks ago but could pick up a share.

Race 8 – (1) GOOGLE IT drops down another class level after he had a better outing recently and he likes the 7 furlong distance. (3) YZERMAN is the logical favourite and contender as he was  a game 2nd at this level last time, it is just a matter of him timing his move right at 7 furlongs which may be further than he likes. (5) ZOOMER MUSIC ran well in his latest on turf but he handles the Tapeta just fine and he drops in class. (13) CHARLES STREET comes off a career best Beyer Figure  when turning back to a sprint and getting his blinkers back. Also consider (6) TORPEDO MAX in superfecta, High 5 wagers as he meets easier.
