Best Bet –  (3) VICTOR'S DESTINY – Race 5
Spot Play  - (7) BE VEWY VEWY QUIET – Race 7
Pick 4  (.20 cents, Races 4-7): 1, 2, 4, 5 / 3, 4, 6 / 4, 5  / 1, 4, 6, 7 = $19.20

Race 1 – (5) EZME'SGIRL has a good chance to get loose on the lead early in this 1 1/16 mile race and that is how she won her maiden in June. (2) MARTINI SUE is the big danger as she just won her maiden with a 54 Beyer Figure in her first race back on the Tapeta surface for trainer Kevin Attard. (4) FOREST AT DAWN stretches out to a route distance for the first time and she showed some late power in her latest. (1) FINE LADY comes off a confidence building maiden win on the turf at Fort Erie and can grab a share.

Race 2- (4) HEART RUSH is down to the lowest claiming level off a big finish in her latest, rallying at a quick one who has been on a winning tear. (2) BEAU'S BEAUTY dropped to this $5,000 claiming level last time and won handily in a good clocking. (3) MY CANTATA shortens up to 5 furlongs and that will give her plenty of power in the late stages. (5) GINBALA has taken all 3 career wins at this short distance.

Race 3- (1) STOLEN IDENTITY is very fast and he was going very quickly on the pace in his latest and weakened to third. The shorter distance of 5 furlongs and the class drop should work for him. (2) RAVEN'S CRY posted a career best Beyer Figure of 77 when he won his Woodbine and Tapeta surface debut July 23. Toss his latest on the grass. (6) HARDY CANDY has been in super form recently and he was recently second to Raven's Cry. (5) DEVIL MAGIC was re-claimed by Darwin Banach from his latest at Fort Erie and he was second in his last outing at Woodbine.

Race 4 – (1) QUEEN LICIA adds blinkers and gets a class drop for her first try on the Tapeta surface in this second outing at Woodbine. She has been close to fast paces in some outings in the US. And she had a fast 3 furlong prep Aug. 22. (5) SHISHKA gets her 20th attempt at her maiden win and she shortens up to 5 furlongs and returns to the main track. She has been 3rd or 4th in all of her 2020 starts. (4) WHAT'S THE RUSH is a stablemate of the top pick and she shortens in distance and tries the main track again. (2) ELITE SPEED had a fast workout times from the gate July 31 as part of her preparation for this career debut.

Race 5 – (3) VICTOR'S DESTINY  paired up his career best Beyer Figure last time on the grass, a 63, and he led late in his previous outing on the Tapeta. (6) RADIO NOWHERE might be the quickest guy in the field and that will help him steal away on this field at 5 1/2 furlongs.(4) PAPA TONY was a winner at Santa Anita in the winter and he recently made his Woodbine debut after a  five month layoff and now he drops in class.  (7) LILZ NOT CRYING gets a sharp class drop for his second outing of 2020 and can move forward off that outing.

Race 6 – (4) BIG MAMBA won a race at this 6 1/2 furlong distance on Tapeta 2 stars ago before landing on the edges in a turf race around 2 turns. She will relish the return to the main track for this sprint. (5) BONNIE SCOT has good speed and this is her third start off a long layoff  and she may put up a good fight on the pace. (6) SNIPPY won at odds-on last time by leading all the way through a slow pace but she can stalk and run well. (3) MISGUIDED PASSION gets her blinkers back on and she has been in the top three 3 times in her 4 outings this season.

Race 7 – (7) BE VEWY VEWY QUIET was my top pick for his latest on the inner turf and he ran well in an even effort but did not have much pace to run at. He moves to the main turf course and drops in class level and he can peak in this third start off the layoff. (6) CHIRICAHUA SIGNAL won his 2019 season debut in a turf sprint and he has  been working quickly in recent weeks. (1) MARTIN RIVER is the main speed in the field and he could lead for a long time. (4) CANMORE is in good form and has plenty of back class to be a factor as he drops one class level.

Race 8 –  (3) HANDSOME GUY came off a layoff and stalked the pace on the turf on his way to a 4th place finish in that return. He gets Lasix and a class drop and should be prominent from the outset. (9) BORN TO BE KING missed by a nose in his most recent maiden race outing on the Tapeta at this class level. The younger half brother to Born to Be King, (1) GIVE ME AN EYE had a smart rally in his career debut on the Tapeta and he returns to that surface. (6) MUSKOKA STORM cuts back from a 9 furlong distance and drops to a new low claiming price for the combo of trainer Mark Casse and leading rider Rafael Hernandez.
