Best Bet –  (3) BOARDROOM – Race 6
Spot Play  - (6) NO QUESTION – Race 4
Pick 4  (.20 cents, Races 4-7) :  2, 3, 6, 10 / 1 ,3, 4 / 3, 4, 7 / 3. 6 = $14.40

Race 1 –  (1) SAYSO makes her third start of the year and appears poised to peak as she drops to $25,000 claiming in search of her second career win.  She switches back to the main track and likes the 7 furlong distance. () THIS ROUND'S MINE is another who drops i n class and this is her first race of the season. She has yet to cross the finish line in first place yet (she was awarded her maiden win through the DQ of a rival) but she ended 2019 on a high note.  (5) TOTALLY PERFECT gets her first try on the Tapeta surface and her maiden win at Tampa Bay on dirt was quite good.(4) GRATEFUL PRAISE should have a lot to say about the pace and there is not a lot of speed in this small field.

Race 2- (9) MUSKOKA DANCER plunges in class for the return to the Tapeta main track. She had a solid return outing on grass and may have regressed off that tough outing last time. She could be better on the grass but at this $15,000 claiming level she figures to be a top three factor. (8) DON'T GET SMART is in fine form and has the sizzling Justin Stein riding. (6) DADS'S MISSY needs a bit more punch to be a win candidate but the leading rider is lured. (3) CAROLINA GRACE can be along for a share as she is fairly reliable for a superfecta, trifecta placing.

Race 3- (7) FIESTA IN VEGAS cashed in last time, cruising to a big score at this 6 1/2 furlong distance for this $7,500 claiming price against non-winners of 2. She meets non-winners of three and will be odds on to double up. (4) SIMPLY MYSTERIOUS is very much a danger to the favourite as she drops in class, moves out a bit in distance and adds Lasix.  (1) WARNING BELLE tries Tapeta for the first time for top Canadian trainer Phil Hall and her local debut saw her hindered by the 5 furlong distance. (3) SADIE IRENE has been third in both races this season and trainer Ron Sadler's horses have been in the top three 8 times in 14 starts.

Race 4- Trip handicappers will be interested in (6) NO QUESTION who had an unfortunate run last time when lacking room for most of the stretch run. It is not likely she would have won the race but she drops in class for a barn that has been rolling. (3) I'M A GINGER added blinkers and won her maiden in fine style recently with a good 62 Beyer Speed Figure. She has to avoid too much of a regression off that big effort. (2) MAXIS BABE continues to work very fast in the morning but she has been dull so far in 2020. (10) WUK UP QUEEN is back in action in 2 weeks after a better outing when third for Ted Holder.

Race 5 – Super fast (4) SPANISH BALLERINA just won a 5 furlong turf dash July 18 and is right back in another 12 days later against tougher.  Should the top pick get caught late, perhaps if she regresses a bit off the big win, then the winner could be (3) HAI BOBBI who just won easily on the Tapeta at this class level and the 3rd place finisher from that race has come back to win. (1) EGYPTIAN NIGHTS has a tricky post, the rail, with all that other speed to her outside but she comes off a big effort. (5) BONNIE LEE won a 5 furlong turf dash last summer and looks to get into better form after a dull return outing.

Race 6 – The filly (3) BOARDROOM came with exquisite credentials first time out and she was the top pick by this corner and won impressively at 4 to 1. She meets the boys in a tougher situation but should be this good. (7) ALL INCLUSIVE landed on the edges in his latest off the big maiden win and he can bounce back as he should be prominent on the pace. (4) LONTANO was an impressive maiden winner in a short turf dash in March at Fair Grounds but flat off the layoff at Churchill. He should handle a Tapeta surface sprint. (5) MONEY RIDE tries Tapeta in his Woodbine debut and he has been racing in New York and Florida and he has some speed.

Race 7 – (6) MALIBU SECRET gave champ Pink Lloyd all he could handle in the Jacques Cartier Stakes in June and this guy has had a month off to reboot. He has yet to win on the grass but has run well on it many times. (3) CITY BOY shortens up to 6 furlongs on turf and that is better for this graded stakes winner in his second outing of the season. (1) REAL MONEY rebounded from a drab run at Churchill Downs to lead all the way in a 6 furlong turf dash in late June. (2) BOREAL SPIRIT often runs well off the layoff.

Race 8 – Looks as if (8) CLASSY N' SILENT has this field of maidens at her mercy. She is quick and will add blinkers and meets slightly easier for the red hot Terra Racing Stable. (5) JUST CALL ME CANDY will also get blinkers and she will like cutting back in distance for this third race of the season. (3) EIGHT SPEED plunges in class and the blinkers come off. She had good speed on turf last time. (6) SOUP DU JOUR shortens up in distance and can close a gap.
