Race 1 — (1) WARRAWEE XCEED got to stretch his legs after starting from a wide post at Flamboro, now he gets the best post and a driver upgrade. I’ll give him the nod to upset in a field with no standouts. (3) FOOLING YOURSELF tried to advance into a 28 3/5 third 1/4 last time and he was one-paced. He should have a much better chance against this group tonight. (2) AZUCAR JACK passed horses late in a debut race where the winner paced about four seconds faster than the winner will likely go here. He can improve sharply in this spot; using. (6) LIME IN DA COCONUT has the best recent race, but he is no lock from the 6-hole. I’d demand a price.
Race 2 — (8) P C HEISENBERG drops into a claimer and he lands in a spot that looks tailor-made for a deep closer. I see him rolling past the leaders in the final 1/4; top call. (4) ETERNAL JEWEL gets off post 7 here, and that gives her a chance to leave for position, then trip out like she did two starts back; using. (7) LA MAGIC is likely going to try to blast to the front again but, with other leavers in here, he could get stung early. I wouldn’t take a short price. (1) WYND CREEK is another that can pass horses late that is in with a decent chance here.
Race 3 — (2) DOMINUM DEO was a comfortable winner in this class last week and he faces similar tonight; call to repeat. (1) RIDDLE ME MISS gets major class relief tonight and she should be much closer early. She can be an Exacta factor. (3) FLUFF ME UP, 2nd to the choice last week, figures to be close again, but I’ll use him underneath. (5) SWANOFAGUN is in a better spot here, and he can sneak into the Super.
Race 4 — (5) WILLIAM ROSS paced a big winning mile after starting in the second-tier last time, and he gets the call to repeat. Put a line through (2) LARJON ALEXANDER’S last mile. He was obviously adversely affected by broken equipment. His effort two starts back in Sarnia puts him right there with these; using. (1) RIDIN ON SUNSHINE has the speed to blast right to the front tonight and he could be the one to catch. He is in with a shot here. (6) SUNDOWN was better last week and he should be in the hunt for a share again.
Race 5 — (3) G A SPEED JOEY sailed by the leaders in deep stretch to take a new life’s mark at Mohawk Park last time. He looks solid to repeat here. (6) GAMBLING ADDICTION comes out of a tough race at Flamboro Downs, and he is worth a look at a price. (2) STRONG ENOUGH N fits this class well, and he may be the one to catch here. (1) SLATE N keeps coming up a bit short. I’ll use him underneath expecting more of the same tonight. (5) PRESS TIME is another who seems best used underneath in this spot.
Race 6 — (3) IAM WHAT I AM showed nothing from the 7-hole twice in a row, now he draws much better. He should get put into play early by Harris; top call. (2) FORTUNE TELLERS K was 2nd two starts back when she started from this post and she figures to be a threat tonight; using. (6) WHAT CAN I SAY couldn’t keep up to a class-dropping 2 to 5 winner last time. This is an easier spot and he is another to consider for multi-race tickets. (7) SUPER T is showing signs of improving form and he can take another share here.
Race 7 — (1) COMING YOUR WAY gets major post relief here and, if she is over her sickness, she can go right down the road from the rail. (6) BLUEWATER BEACH only has one win in 2021, but she is in very good form right now. She can be a threat tonight. (5) ROSE RUN VIGILANT will be looking for the front early, but she may be forced to take a seat by the choice. I’ll use her underneath this time. (7) GET IT DONE DONNA has finished 3rd or 4th in all of her last five starts. She is a good one to use on the bottom of the Tri and Super.
Race 8 — (1) KASHE got the clean line she needed, now she draws best in a race where she fits well; top call. (3) HEINEKEN SEELSTER looked good dominating easier here last week, and he should be the one to catch again; using. (2) MUSCLES APLENTY gets Kelly here and she will likely leave fast enough to be the pocket-sitter. She is in with a chance. (6) RED HOT TORCH should come on late for another small share.
Race 9 — This is a field that (7) SIRIUS STAR should dominate if she gets a reasonable trip and Horner should be blasting off the gate with her; top call. (4) MADDYS CREDIT also fits better at this level and she should be an Exacta factor racing close to the front tonight. (2) INSINCERITY can wake up in this spot with the move inside; consider for the exotics at a price. (5) ST LADS FIJI exits two fast races at Flamboro Downs and she can take a slice here.
Race 10 — (3) KEMPENFELT drops back to the level at which she was claimed three starts back, moves inside, and picks up Henry to drive tonight. There is lots to like here, and she gets top billing. (1) RETURN TO STYLE is no doubt pointing for the front leaving the gate again, and she is the other one that I will use on multi-race tickets. (2) BYE BYE DADDY figures to get another good trip and she should be in the Tri. (4) SCOTTISH MACH comes off a nice win at this claiming level, but this is a much tougher condition. She is likely to take a small share only.
Race 11 — (6) RHYTHM SEELSTER was claimed by a high percentage barn, and she gets aggressive driver Sorrie here. I’ll give her the nod to repeat despite drawing wide. (4) MORAMAPPO was 3rd vs. tougher at Flamboro on Thursday night, and she should be a speed threat here; using. (1) RUNAWAY HEIRESS didn’t have much zip racing first-up last time. I see her taking a following trip and a share tonight. (2) NORTHERN BELLE is another that can sneak into the exotics off a following trip.
Race 12 — (8) LITERALLY HANOVER makes the drop to the bottom claiming level here, and Sorrie should have her out and on the move early. This is a field that she should beat. (2) LARJON LUCY has upset potential drawing well after being mired in the second tier for two straight races; using. (3) ROLLWITHITANNIE comes off a good try at this level, and she is another to consider for the late Pick 4. (9) FRILLS N LACE failed to convert as the 2 to 5 chalk last week. I’ll play to beat her tonight. (5) MACH MINE BLUE races better at this level, and she can take a slice here.
