Race 1 — (3) STYLISH N SPORTY exits tougher races, and she should have a big shot to break her maiden in the 16th try today; top call. (6) TAYLORS CREDIT has the best most recent race but he draws worst. I wouldn’t take a short price here. (4) LADY JASMINE should be good for another share in this spot.
Race 2 — Interesting race with two barn mates seemingly possessing the best gate speed. Of those two, (3) HELLO YOU should be blasting to the front, and he should be the one to catch. (7) WEST COAST KID could get a great setup for his late kick, and I’ll use him in the Pick 5. (1) FINE CREDIT faces tougher here, but he can take a share starting from the rail.
Race 3 — I like the driver change to Wray on (5) CANTCOUNTMEOUT, and I could see him blasting and going down the road today. (2) GO MUD is the other one that figures to be leaving hard, and he has a good chance here. (6) SINGHAMPTON KENNY faces easier but draws worst. I’d need a price to back him.
Race 4 — (2) SOS JUSTIFIED was relentless chasing down and beating (1) WINDSONG NAPOLEON last week, and these two should battle it out again, likely with the same outcome. (4) BAROSSA BLUE GENES has a chance to leave quicker with his nose back on the gate tonight, and he should be an exotics factor.
Race 5 — (3) WRITE ABOUT LAURA should make the front leaving the gate again today, and she will be the one to catch. (4) ROSE RUN VIGILANT is the other one that should be blasting off the gate, and I see this race coming down to one of these two. (1) SCOTTISH MACH should find this field a bit easier, and she should be part of the Tri.
Race 6 — This should be (1) AVUNCULAR’s race to lose, as he is sure to be pointed to the front leaving the gate; top call. (7) RIDDLE ME MISS doesn’t win often, but she could pass a few of these late and add some value to the Exacta. (3) WEST RIVER CINDY is another that can leave quickly here, and she should contend for a share.
Race 7 — This looks like a field that (1) MACH SHARK can wire, and I expect a big speed try from her today. (3) COLORADO BUCK should find this class easier, and he is the one to fear. (2) OLDFRIENDSKENTUCKY should get a better trip today and land a spot in the Tri.
Race 8 — (4) SOUTHWIND MASIMO faces easier today, and I expect an aggressive steer from Borth here; top call. This is also an easier spot for (2) KEATON, and these two veterans are likely to battle it out in the stretch. (3) EINHORN chased the tough Tylers Beach Boy home last week, and he can take another share here.
Race 9 — (6) PICKLES ON TOP is a win machine that has been off for five weeks. She still might be able to handle these; slight nod. (4) HOWMAC SABRINA was right there last week, and she is another high percentage winner. She would be no surprise in here. (2) MINNIE MILLION draws well and looks to double up. She is another in with a chance in a short but competitive field.
Race 10 — (1) SUPER WILLIE draws well here, and there is an excellent chance that he’ll go right down the road. (4) THE WITCHES BREW is in solid form, and she figures to be an Exacta factor again today. (6) BANANA MUFFIN is best used on the bottom starting from the worst post this afternoon.
Race 11 — This race looks like it will set up perfectly for (2) LEAFS AND WINGS’ strong late kick, and I see him rolling by in deep stretch. (1) KISS IT BETTER gets an improved post today, and she is another stalker that can take advantage of an expected pace battle. (5) BLACKCREEK ROSEBUD is on a roll, but she will likely get stung early today. I’ll play to beat her.
