Best Bet – (2) RUSTYS FLYING - Race 6
Spot Play – (6) BETTER THAN EVER - Race 3

Race 1- (1) SPORT A LUCKY STAR qualified quickly for this and she may control this race from the start to break through in her fourth start. (8) RECKLESS FOOL should be winging it early and if she can clear to the front, she may prove tough to catch. (6) GRACE TOO took her first share last time and she finished well in that race. She is another in with a shot in the opener.

Race 2 – (3) RAMBARAN ROSE parlayed a driver change into a win last week now she gets aggressive teamster Gassien and she is the one to beat. (1) WINDSUN ARIA raced well in a fast race for the class and she should be the main danger. (6) LETSHAVEONEMORE is getting closer and she can take a share here.

Race 3 – (6) BETTER THAN EVER has been facing the same couple of winners every week in Ottawa and this company should be to her liking tonight. (2) ROSE ISLAND AGGIE makes her 14th start in search of her maiden win and she seems to have the edge here; top call. (3) REINSPIRED won’t be held off very long with the speed and form she has displayed. She is an exotics factor here.

Race 4 – (4) PRIVILEGE gets his nose back on the gate here and he should have a big shot to topple the streaking (6) BALLPARKFRANK. These two will likely comprise a chalky Exacta payoff here. (2) SHAD gets post relief here. She’s worth a look for the Tri at a price.

Race 5 – (8) TEETER is one of only two winners in this race and getting off post 9 should help him here; top call. (3) MAJOR ON THE BEACH takes on much easier foes here and he is likely to try a more aggressive approach here; using. (2) DOC DARRYL is also probably facing easier here and he draws well. Give him a look for the Tri.

Race 6 – (2) RUSTYS FLYING goes for win #101 here and she looks like the one to beat her again; top call. (1) YNOTHOS should get a much better trip here starting from the rail and she is the main danger. (5) DRY CREEK IMAGE will likely pass a couple of these late and take a slice.

Race 7 – (6) DORSET is by a top Ontario sire and he qualified well for this. I have to try him to beat 0 for 19 (2) BATHGATE who will get hammered at the windows exiting a Grassroots race but has already failed at this level here a few times. (4) RJS INVICTUS will contend if he can stay flat this time and he may offer a good price.

Race 8 – (1) ANGELS KID should be tough here facing easier from the rail and he gets my nod over (2) JANES ANGEL who should last longer in this spot. (3) BLAMEITONTHEWHISKY races well for Boyd and he takes the reins back here. He’s another possibility here.

Race 9 – (3) MISTER GODRO was game in defeat when claimed at Mohawk Park and he can control this race from the outset. (1) OUTLAWDANCWTHEDEVL also comes in from a sharp effort and getting the rail won’t hurt; the main danger. (2) MACHO POLO also races off the fresh claim and he will be a factor racing near the front but I prefer to use him on the bottom.

Race 10 – (2) FOUR FOR ORR is one of the most consistent horses at Kawartha Downs and he is the one to beat here again as the likely odds-on chalk. (5) IAMSAM SAMIAM often races well against the choice and he can complete this Exacta. (4) CRAZY LUKE DUKE will be passing horses late again. I’ll use him on the bottom of the Tri.
