Race 1- (1) GAB IN MOTION looks clearly best based on his two recent wins and he draws the rail here. He need only stay flat to take this opener of the Autumn series. (4) ARLANDA was a good 2nd facing similar at Grand River and he should be an Exacta factor in this spot. (5) AJTITAN – third in his last two starts – is a good one to use on the bottom of the Tri.
Race 2 – (1) ALL THE TRIMMINS fits much better in this spot and he is a Thanksgiving weekend hunch bet to boot; top call. (3) BUCKYS ANGEL figures to use his good early speed to get position and he should be the main danger. (4) BLOGMASTER improved in his second start and he should pass some of these to take a share this week.
Race 3 – (2) PINECONE PETE draws perfectly for another front end try here and he should be tough in this spot as he seeks a repeat. (1) ASA ONAMISSION is a definite threat from the rail as he might end up being a pocket rocket for driver Mackenzie who has made a living winning races up the Flamboro passing lane. (6) EXPLOSIVE JET is at a post disadvantage and I see her taking a smaller share again.
Race 4 – (2) ACEFORTYFOURLADYDI is in a great spot to flaunt her gate speed here after being mired in the second tier last start; down the road. (4) DOLLYS SKY is another that gets major post relief and she also is likely to show more early speed this week; Exacta factor. (7) EATAAMS PRINCESS probably beat better last time, but post 7 is likely going to limit her to a small share.
Race 5 – This race should come down to Mohawk Park shippers (3) VEYRON and (5) VENUS DUHARAS who finished close together last start. Slight nod to the former based on post advantage, but using both in the Pick 4. (4) TOUCHDOWN AS’ Rideau form isn’t terrible and he can rally for a share here.
Race 6 – (1) TYMAL DAZZLE should take advantage of drawing best and use rail control to wire this group; top call. (5) BUILT STRONG, who was only 1/2 a length behind the choice last time, looks next best and he is the other one that I’ll use in the cash leg of this early Pick 4. (4) DRONE SEELSTER has seven slices in 11 starts and he is a good one to use underneath in this spot. (7) ONE SMART COOKIE is right there every week, too, and an outside post ensures a good price; using. (3) DUSTY LANE MANNEY has the trainer listed to drive but she does show several fifth-place finishes in her past performances.
Race 7 – (1) HEID has had 16 chances with nary an Exacta finish but she just seems fastest in here; 17th time a charm? (7) IZZIES ELEGANCE is the one to beat on current form but she may get stung early by the choice who should be leaving this time; using in the Pick 4 but demand a price for a win ticket. (3) FRISK AWAY raced better last week when out and challenging a long way and she should be in the exotics mix tonight.
Race 8 – (2) FERN HILL BREEZE just beat a better field of handicap claimers at Mohawk Park and he should be mighty tough against these. (7) CHALEURS AD possesses the fastest opening 1/4 speed on paper but he may not be permitted to clear from out there. Demand a price if you like him. (5) RYE N CLYNE is in tremendous form but there is other early speed signed on here and that could compromise his chances; using underneath.
Race 9 – (5) ZACK TO THE MAX aired the only two times he raced in this conditioned claimer class and he should be hard to beat here. (3) WINDSONG OPHELIA produced a top effort to win last week and she draws well again; the main threat. (4) ALONA got a clean line and came on for 2nd. She can be an exotics factor again here if she behaves.
Race 10 – (7) THE FIRST CHAPTER wins when he travels to B tracks and on that recent history, I’ll take him on top here. (2) HALO ITS ME is in top form and hard to leave out starting from one of the best posts. (5) EMOTIONS DURABLES takes on elders but she has enough speed to make her presence felt; using. (9) TYMAL HOUDINI is likely to improve getting away from outside posts and he can win this if the trip shakes out his way. (3) CD MAX should be a speed threat if he stays flat this time and he can land in the High-5.
