Race 1 – (3) ARTISTER J tracked then overcame some quick fractions last time now he gets Gagnon to drive which won’t hurt; call to repeat. (6) KISS IT BETTER is racing well and she usually gets put into play racing on the rim; Exacta factor. (5) STRAIT TOTHE POINT has hit the board in three straight and he should make it onto the ticket again here.
Race 2 – (5) ROAD RUNNER COLONY has been racing well for several weeks and he should offer a good price here stepping up off a win, slight nod. (2) MUSSELSFRMBRUSSELS should be in the mix from the outset here and the improved post should lead to him getting position early. He should be a big threat here. (1) SAULSBROOK LANNY is an obvious threat dropping and getting Gagnon and the rail, but he will likely get overbet in this spot.
Race 3 – (2) MACH MESSIER easily handled similar and he should double up as chalk here. (1) ROCZEN HANOVER is worth a look for the Exacta in this spot as he could get a great trip starting from the rail. (5) SAVANNAH SPLENDOR could improve sharply on the class drop here. Don’t forget him when you are punching in your Trifectas.
Race 4 – (2) MOREMUNKYBUSINESS is 0 for her last 91 starts, but she is fastest on paper here and she may not get a better chance than this to break her lengthy winless streak; slight nod. (4) OK EBURY also fits well against these and he should pose a challenge to the choice. (6) ILL BEA STAR TOO is in solid form, but she usually closes late for a share. I expect more of the same here.
Race 5 – (6) LMC MASS GEM has been tremendous the past three starts and he should be tough to get past here again in this spot. (3) Y S SUZANNE came on late last time to nab second behind the choice, catching (5) REVENUE AGENT down the lane. These two should be fighting it out for second again.
Race 6 – (4) D GS DE VITO took an immediate liking to Rideau Carlton when he shipped in here and raced on October 20th and came back to win his next start. He looks solid to repeat here. (8) SAULSBROOK PEACH is always a threat at these levels and he has the speed to overcome post 8; using. (1) SILVERADO should get a good spot near the front early and hang around for a share. (2) TWIN B LAKER regularly hits the ticket when he starts from an inside post and he should be in the Tri or High-5 here. (6) CANADIAN EDITION produced a good late kick last time and he should roll up late again here.
Race 7 – (7) CHALEURS AD and (8) NATIONAL DEBT renew their rivalry here and the nod goes to the former who is almost sure to get a big jump on the latter at the start. (4) UFDRAGONS ROCKET is in solid form currently and he is a good one to use on the bottom of the Tri.
Race 8 – (3) OAKROCK EDLORADO has been great for Gagnon since getting claimed and he should handle these at a short price. (2) HOPETOBEFIRST would do well to land in the choice’s pocket early as that would give him a chance to upset here. (4) CHOREOGRAPHER comes off a sharp try vs. a good field and he’s not out of this.
Race 9 – (3) BATTING STATS lays over these on recent class but he needs to stay trotting, obviously. (1) VERO AMORE BI also drops, and he could inherit a great front-end trip if the choice miscues at the start again. (2) HLDONTGHTTOYURDRMS couldn’t seal the deal racing in the slop vs. easier. I’ll use him underneath only here.
Race 10 – (2) REALRUBIES AT PLAY looked terrific winning here on Thursday night and he should be very tough coming right back three days later. (6) SINGHAMPTON KENNY will get plenty of attention racing off the fresh Gagnon claim and he is a Pick 4 must-use for me. (4) PASSIONATE PRINCE faces tougher here, but he is very sharp, and he can enter contention. (1) WINDSUN CHEYENNE can sit a nice following trip here and hit the ticket. (7) BLOSSOM ONTHEBEACH will be heard from early and she should stick around for at least a small share.
