Best Bet - (6) SPARTAN VICTORY - Race 10
Spot Play - (3) ST LADS CHLOE - Race 5
20-cent Pick 4 (R5) - 1,3/2,3,4,5,6/3/1,4,5 - $6

Race 1  - (2) E R RHONDA switches to the powerful St. Louis barn and drops in class. That seems like a winning combination. (1) MACH SHARK returns to the conditioned claiming level at which she’s won before and gets an inside post. (5) ST LADS SUNDANCE is a reliable mare to use underneath.

Race 2 - (1) BYE BYE DADDY draws the rail after a few races starting from the outside and he can go right down the road here. (5) IDEAL SPACE got off the schneid with a dominant win last time; she’s one to consider. (6) BLISSFULLANNMARIE is always a contender among these and she should grab a share.

Race 3 - (3) TOBINS TERROR drops back into conditioned company and gets a post from which she can use her early speed with strong driver Borth. She could shake loose here. (1) CANTCOUNTMEOUT has been sharp in recent contests and he is primed for a top effort here with St. Louis from the rail. (4) ADDITUDE should be around late to take a piece of the pie as she so often is.

Race 4 - (1) WHATAREYOULOOKINAT paced one of her best miles to date last out, and now she draws perfectly; top call. (6) S R WILLPOWER showed improvement with St. Louis added recently. With another step forward, he will threaten. (7) OCEAN DRIVE didn’t get going much in her pari-mutuel debut; I expect better here.

Race 5 - (3) ST LADS CHLOE was very impressive two back at this level and gets an improved post here. She has a shot and should be a juicy price. (1) TURN BACK TIME is in great form and has every reason to grab another win from this spot. (2) RACEBYTHESEASIDE has hit the board in 14 of his 18 starts this year, but only one of them was a win. He’s a solid play underneath again.

Race 6 - (5) AMAZING QUEST had a three-race win streak snapped last out due to a very tough outside trip. He should be more forwardly-placed here. (4) MYSTICAL BEACH was the winner of that previously-mentioned contest, and he did so convincingly. He commands respect. (3) MISTER GODRO is one of the tougher horses in this class and can’t be discounted either.

Race 7 - (3) DALI CAT drops in class and gets a very soft group. She should capitalize here. (7) NJS TRICK PISTOL has been struggling to get home recently, and he draws post seven to compound matters. Still, he should be a player among these. (2) ON THE TAKE is a journeyman who should stick around for a piece of the pie here.

Race 8 - (4) INSINCERITY steps up into a manageable group and retains the track’s leading driver; she’s likely to pay a price too. (5) OLDFRIENDSKENTUCKY scored in last week’s edition of this event, but he has a tougher ask from post five here; possible. (1) IN THE WHEELHOUSE is there or thereabouts every week; using.

Race 9 - (4) DISTINCTIV SEAN had an incredibly tough first-over trip in the slop last week; he’s in better here and should finish well. (2) HARTTATTACK switches to St. Louis today; that could make the difference. (1) BORN WITH CLASS has shown good ability for a 14-year-old and could get a minor placing.

Race 10 - (6) SPARTAN VICTORY was indeed victorious in his last effort at this class. He can repeat that victory here if the sailing is clear. (5) RAINBOW GOLD shows slightly less than the former, but he still has an edge on the rest of the field. Consider using underneath. (1) RIVERSATHOME hits the board at a very consistent rate; I’ll use him underneath.
