Best Bet – (4) RELLA TIVITY – Race 10
Spot Play – (2) DALIATOR – Race 8

Race 1 – (7) SPIDER MAN HANOVER got untracked with a win taken here last week and he obviously has the required gate speed to overcome this post; top call in the opener. (4) STONEBRIDGE STING didn’t threaten at 4 to 5 odds last time, but he may have needed that race and he can improve here. (6) ATEYATEFNGERSLOUIE should leave quickly and get good position early and that should lead to a board finish.

Race 2 – (2) FASHION WRITER had little chance starting from the worst post at Grand River last time but she dominated when she had an inside post two starts back and I look for a big effort here. (1) BLAKES BOY should get a great trip here and he is a big threat to the choice. (4) KEEN AS A BEAN can rally for a smaller share in this spot.

Race 3 – (7) A J CASH raced decently vs. much better at Mohawk Park after requalifying and with that clean line on his card, it should be go time here. (3) MANY A MAN went a big trip here after suffering interference early and he should be right there this afternoon. (2) SCHRADER HANOVER is in solid form and he can parlay another good trip into a high placing here.

Race 4 – (2) QUEENOFHEARTS set some big fractions last time which likely led to her demise later in the mile. She has a better chance of getting a breather here; top call. (3) APRIL BANDIT will likely leave in the choice’s pocket and she is an Exacta factor in this spot. (4) MARK YOUR PAIGE hasn’t missed the board in a while, and I’ll use her underneath in this spot.

Race 5 – (1) BS TYRRIFIC goes from the worst post to the best starting slot and that should make a world of difference here; top call. (8) MAY TO FOR can follow the choice out and ride that trip to a good finish. (2) STONEBRIDGE SCOUT raced better last time, but I still prefer to use him underneath here.

Race 6 – (1) MIGHTY MOUSE is a classy veteran who is likely to use rail control in this short field and look to go right down the road. (2) MACH ON should leave with the choice, get position early then launch a late threat. (3) ASBRAVEASMYMOMMA should contend here if she stays flat. I’ll use her on the bottom of Tris.

Race 7 – (8) ST LADS FIJI looks solid shooting for three straight and the inside horse should be leaving so she can get position early then launch an assault. (5) HIGH ROLLER DUKE has raced great in all of her starts and she is the one the choice must fend off. (1) WRITERS EDGE is a good one to use on the bottom starting from the best post.

Race 8 – (2) DALIATOR has been finishing well from impossible spots. Post should make a big difference for him this afternoon. (3) ON CRUISE CONTROL races well at this track and he should be a threat from close range today. (8) OLD BUCK can stalk and come on late to share here.

Race 9 – (3) NEW BOSS IN TOWN should blast to the front and control this race from start to finish. (6) SOUTHFIELD SPIRIT should get put into this race earlier and that makes her a threat. (1) MISS OHIO can protect position starting from the inside here and she can land in the Triactor in this spot.

Race 10 – (4) RELLA TIVITY will look to go right down the road here and she’s the one to catch and beat. (5) POISON BY THE PAGE raced okay in a quick mile at Hiawatha Horse Park last week and she’s worth a look for the Exacta. (1) CHARMBO CRACKER should go better here, but I wouldn’t take a short price on this one-time winner.
