ONTARIO BRED

Town Classic, bred by Ballycroy Training Centre in Loretto, Ont. draws Post 11 in the first race of the day. The 9-year-old son of Speightstown will look to build on his second-place finish earlier in the meet.

Mad Mocha looks to break his maiden in the second, for Woodbine trainer Stuart Simon. The 3-year-old gelding was bred by Chiefswood Stables of Schomberg, Ont. - an Ontario Racing Thoroughbred Improvement Program leading breeder in 2021.

ONTARIO OWNED

Summer in Saratoga will run in the ninth, the TAA Pegasus World Cup Filly and Mare Turf Invitational presented by PEPSI. The 6-year-old mare is co-owned by Anderson Farms Inc. of St. Thomas, Ont. She is coming off a win at the Blush D.K Stakes (Black Type) at Keeneland in December.

Mandate will go off in the seventh - the W.L. McKnight Stakes - for Bruno Schickedanz of Toronto, Ont. Woodbine’s leading owner by wins will turn to 2018 Avelino Gomez Memorial Award winner, and Woodbine regular, Emma-Jayne Wilson to ride the 5-year-old gelding.

Marisa's Mission is owned by Orangeville Ont., resident Franco Meli. The 4-year-old gelding is trained by fellow Ontarian, Martin Drexler. He will run in the first race of the day.
