‘No Contest’ Grassroots division will go Aug. 26
The third division of the three-year-old trotting colt and gelding Grassroots Leg at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Monday, Aug. 22 was ruled a ‘No Contest’ when Feel The Force and driver Trevor Henry parted company just after the start.

To ensure the participants involved are able to compete for the full $22,600 Ontario Sires Stakes purse and accumulate points toward the Grassroots Semi-Final, Ontario Racing will restage the division at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Friday, Aug. 26.

On the advice of Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) officials, the race will be redrawn. As the incident was caused by broken equipment and Feel The Force was not required to requalify, he will be eligible to participate in the restaged event.
