After weekend hiatus, harness racing returns with gusto at Clinton Raceway

The 164th annual Clinton Spring Fair came to town this past weekend in Clinton, providing race fans with a break two weeks after their season opener on the Victoria Day long weekend.

Fans were eager to get back to cheering their favourites down the stretch at the Huron County oval and community Living Central Huron hosted the weeks Day at the Races Fundraiser, including the delicious trackside BBQ, raffle and 50/50 draw. The local organization was able to raise just over $2500 with the generous donations from the great crowd and the impressive handle topped $23,500.

Next Sunday, June 17, bring Dad out for a special Father's Day treat, and support the Seaforth Public School during their Day at the Races event. A trackside BBQ, silent auction and 50/50 will all be a part of the event.

Post time is 1:30 pm and more details and information about this event and the entire season of events can be found at www.clintonraceway.com
